Do more people die of cold or heat?

Don't think that in modern times, when people's living conditions are good, there is no such thing as hot death or cold death. The world is cruel. Some people still live in extremely bad environment. They have no money, no cotton-padded clothes to keep out the cold in winter and no air conditioning to enjoy the cool in summer.

In North Africa, hundreds of people die every summer from high temperature or mosquito bites and infections.

Fortunately, they can survive the winter by winter clothes and adobe houses.

So I can tell you that there are more people dying of heat than freezing to death in this world.

I hope you can know and cherish the hard-won life now.

In other words, while we are eating ice cream, blowing air conditioners and covering ourselves with quilts, on the other side of the mainland, there are still many poor people who have to work in the scorching sun. They have to plow and farm in the sun, and they have to wear clothes to go back and forth in the high temperature environment, which causes them to faint and suffer from heatstroke because they have no air conditioning and only straw hats at most.

The only way they can cool down is with bare arms. Even women can't be naked, so they can only accept the heat.

Because they are poor, they have to work no matter how hot it is.

Because they have no money, they can't buy a fan at home, let alone an air conditioner.

Their dilapidated adobe houses bear the rain, snow, wind and frost, but they can't isolate the heat.

Needless to say, the global temperature is rising because of the greenhouse effect, and the ozone layer is empty because of the discharge of pollutants, so the direct radiation of the sun on the earth is getting higher and higher.

They are poor, so they have to swallow their pride.

And these cruel things are not because of them.

They didn't enjoy any high-tech fun, but they had to pay a painful price for the development of science and technology. I just hope you don't just say the word life and death. You know, this is a very serious matter. I hope you can cherish the good life now.
