There used to be a "fairyland" in the ancient village of Ningbo, Zhejiang. The beauty of Longtan is full of legends, and it is even more beautiful after the rain.

There is an ancient village in Hengxi Town, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, which is located between hills and streams. When I first visited it, I was impressed by its beauty. When I passed it again, I was attracted by its magnificence. There are many historical sites, waterfalls, Qingtan and ancient roads, as well as network celebrities B&B. The scenery is so beautiful that many young tourists come here to take pictures and punch in.

This ancient village is located in the southeast of Wushantou, Hengxi Town, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, surrounded by mountains. If the village falls into a pit in a mountain stream, it is named "Xiashankeng" because there is a "Shankeng" village in its upper reaches.

There are historical sites or scenic spots such as Longxiang Temple, Longwangtang Shenshuitan, Xianrenjing, Sanjiangjun Temple, Meiyinqiao and Meiling Middle School in the downhill pit. There are several ancient roads around, such as Main Road, Yushan Road and Jinshan Road. Through these ancient roads, you can visit ancient villages such as Dachenpo 'ao, Yushan, Jinshan, Gucun and Yancun. These landscapes are interlocking, and they are a tourist area with historical charm and natural scenery, which is well worth visiting.

Xiashankeng Village is located between valleys, and Meixi passes through the village. Meixi twists and turns, although there is no name for twists and turns, but there are many beautiful scenery along the way.

The northernmost scenery of the village is in the corner of Meixi, with vertical cliffs, green trees, rugged rocks and clear streams. There is a Longxiang Temple under the cliff. There is a long and narrow stone bridge in front of the temple, and there is a stone pool under the bridge. During the rainy season, the streams are abundant and the water is swift, and the waterfalls on the stone beach rush down, which is very spectacular.

The center of the village is also a bend. The bend is the starting point of Meiyin Ancient Road, Meixi Ancient Road and Yushan Ancient Road, and there are many historical sites.

Among these historical sites, Meiyin Bridge is the most famous. The date of construction of Main Bridge is unknown. The existing bridge was rebuilt in the Republic of China 12, with a total length of 8.5 meters and a width of 4.5 meters. The bridge body is made of relatively regular stones, and the bridge deck is paved with pebbles, with lotus boards in the middle and slightly protruding strips on both sides as bridge railings. There is a path similar to the optical fiber path under the bridge, so you can stop and play. There is a Temple of Three Generals near Meiyin Bridge, which is said to be built to worship Pei Du, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1000 years.

Next to Meiyin Bridge and Sanjiangjun Temple is Zhu Ye B&B in Ningbo. Zhu Ye B&B has been rated as one of the top ten most beautiful B&Bs in Ningbo. There is a blue pool, awning tent, lounge chair and teahouse in front of the house. This is a romantic leisure place.

There is a place with the most beautiful scenery in Xiashankeng Village, called "Triangle Longtan". There are canyons on both sides of the triangle Longtan, and the surging streams are running down, with increasing momentum. There is a shoal near the swimming pool, where you can enjoy the scenery, play or set up a tent.

There is also a beautiful legend about this Longtan: It is said that Triceratops, the son of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, came out drunk to play. He happened to be thirsty when he passed by, and he happened to meet an old man carrying water and asked for a bowl of water to drink. Knowing that the old man's water was collected from more than ten miles away, Triceratops decided to dig a well here. Unfortunately, the magic soldiers who came to seize it on the orders of the Dragon King arrived. Triceratops was outnumbered, so it hit the mountain with its head and split half the mountain to attract spring water and form a clear pool. In memory of him, the villagers named it "Triangle Longtan".

There are several shallow waterfalls and pools in the lower reaches of the triangle Longtan. Longtan fairyland is the most famous. Longtan fairyland is a scenic spot located on the banks of Meixi River, but independent of Meixi. The whole scenic spot is a ravine, full of rocks and waterfalls. At the beginning of the shower, the stream runs down, forming a cascade waterfall, which is beautiful and is a scenic spot to play with water.

There is another scenic spot in the downhill pit that I have to mention, and that is Metin. This pavilion was built to commemorate the former Meiling Middle School in the village. Meiling middle school is in Longwangtang, next to Xianrenjing. Founded in 1968, it was once a famous school in Yinzhou District and trained a large number of talents for the society. Later, as the villagers moved to other places, it was closed.

There are several waterfalls and pools on the stream of Longwangtang. The scenery is extremely beautiful, so you can go sightseeing and relax. This is a very good water resort.

The most beautiful scenery in Xiashankeng Village is in rainy days, rainy seasons or after typhoons. During this period, when it rains, the mountains are misty and picturesque; After the rain, the stream is full, the green hills are beautiful and the scenery is pleasant. So, come here to play, try to come in the rain or after the rain, and you will definitely find another kind of beauty.
