Brief introduction of Pan Jiebing

Pan Da, 1990, was born in Cao County, Shandong Province. Influenced by his family, he liked calligraphy and seal cutting since childhood. In 2006, Pan was admitted to No.1 Middle School (a key middle school in Shandong Province) with a score of over 70 points.

In 2009, he went to Qufu, Shandong Province to study calligraphy and seal cutting, and studied with Huang, Shi and his teacher. 20 10 calligraphy won the first place in Shandong province. I studied under Mr. Zhuang Guisen, Zhang Xuefeng and Li Lin.

After entering the university, Pan went out early and returned late every day, shuttling between the studio and the library. Created a profound foundation for calligraphy and seal cutting.

In the autumn of 20 13, the Pan Seal Carving Art Exhibition sponsored by the Academy of Fine Arts of Shangqiu Normal University was held in the library of Shangqiu Normal University. At the opening ceremony, Pan donated 100 personal works to the library. It has won unanimous praise from classmates, teachers and all walks of life.

Pan (Pan Da), 1990 was born in Caoxian County, Shandong Province. He graduated from China Academy of Art with a bachelor's degree in literature and a master's degree in art. He was admitted to Shangqiu Teachers College on October 20 10. Studied under Li Lin, Zhang Xuefeng and Zhuang Guisen. Pan Jiebing likes seal cutting. Compared with calligraphy, there are not many students who like seal cutting, probably because working on a small Yin Shi is far from the happiness of an armchair strategist; Others think that seal cutting marks are not practical or important. Since self-knowledge, seal cutting has experienced several stages of development, such as "printing in Qin and Han dynasties", "printing from books", "seeking printing outside printing" and "daring to be original", which is spectacular and sighed by future generations, and has the gift of "infinite scenery occupied". In fact, this is the result of being misled without understanding the true meaning of "seal". There is a saying in seal cutting that "seven-point seal cutting and three-point seal cutting", which means that seal cutting is based on "seal cutting". What does seal script mean? "Shuo Wen Jie Zi": "Those who seal the script, those who quote the book, quote the pen and stick bamboo and silk." Is to write on bamboo and silk, isn't this the initial state of calligraphy? It can be seen that seal cutting is actually based on calligraphy. Nowadays, fast food culture is very popular, and many people regard "how fast and save" as the highest pursuit. If they can't write, they dare to seal, and the quality of seal cutting can be imagined. This is the first mistake. Learning seal cutting instead of calligraphy will naturally "wander around in my heart with a knife" and I don't know what to do. The second mistake is that the content of seal cutting is limited by seal script. Seal script, "pen draws on bamboo silk", here only says writing on bamboo silk, not saying what style to write. There is no doubt that seal script was written in the pre-Qin period. After the Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, it may be seal script, official script, regular script or cursive script. When Oracle Bone Inscriptions found out, it might be Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Therefore, the fields involved by the predecessors of seal cutting are mostly concentrated on the printing of seal script, but there is much to be done in the future, so it is not necessary to praise the infinite scenery as the best.

Pan Jiebing likes Yuan Zhuwen very much and works hard. Some people will say that if he can't enter the Qin and Han Dynasties, he will eventually fall. It's true. However, the rice must always be eaten bit by bit, and the road must always go step by step. The so-called "no accumulation, no miles; If you don't accumulate small streams, you can't become rivers and seas. " Starting from interest, from near to far, tracing back to the source is also a common learning method used by predecessors. Pan's exploration of seal cutting is also quite rich. Except seal script, all cursive scripts in Li Kai are used for printing. Although immature, it proves that he has ideas about seal cutting and his spirit of exploration is commendable.
