Why do self-adhesive labels stick to plastic products?

2022- 1 1-04 answer.

First, the adhesive sizing is uneven.

In general, self-adhesive labels are composed of printing layer, self-adhesive and backing paper. According to the manufacturing process, the self-adhesive label consists of six aspects: coating, surface material, adhesive, silicon coating, backing paper, back coating or back printing. If there is a technical defect of uneven sizing in the manufacturing process of self-adhesive labels, it will cause foaming.

Second, the pressure of the labeling machine is insufficient.

Usually, the main components of automatic labeling machine are unwinding wheel, buffer wheel, guide roller, driving roller, unwinding wheel, stripping plate and pressure wheel. The link of automatic labeling is that after the sensor on the automatic labeling machine sends out the labeling data signal, the driving shaft of the automatic labeling machine starts. This is because the reel label is in a state of tension during assembly. When the base paper clings to the peeling plate to change the operating reserve price, the self-adhesive label is forced to separate from the base paper due to the inevitable firmness of its own material. At this time, the labeled object is just below the self-adhesive label, and the label separated from the backing paper is evenly and neatly attached to the object under the immersion of the press wheel. After labeling, the sensor at the bottom of the drum label sends out a data signal to stop the operation, the transmission shaft is stationary, and a labeling link ends.

Third, the electrostatic effect.

Compared with the self-adhesive label of film material, static electricity will also make the trademark bubble.

Usually static electricity is caused by two factors: one is dry weather, especially when using self-adhesive labels in the cold winter in northern China, static electricity often appears in the labeling process. Secondly, static electricity will also appear when the drip plastic self-adhesive label is in frictional contact with the related parts of the automatic labeling machine.
