The traditional shooting method of star orbit is a single long exposure method. Because the light is very dark at night, it can be exposed for half an hour or even longer. During this time, the stars have crossed a distance in the sky, so they will leave traces. Due to thermal noise and battery power, this method is not very useful in the digital age.

When you say that PS is overexposed after stacking, your single exposure is higher, and it will be higher after all stacking. ACR adjustment can be used to reduce the superposition of single exposure and solve the problem of overexposure after synthesis. After adjusting a setting, remember to load the current setting into the default value.

There are many values, and the RAW format can be debugged, which can perfectly solve the problem of insufficient in the early stage. JPG format can only select the exposure option, and then reduce the exposure. Not as convenient as the later RAW.

The modification of JPG format is more troublesome, and the effect is still relatively false, because the unnatural feeling of JPG itself is not easy to handle.

Finally, to sum up my experience, the aperture of the star orbit is around 9.0, and the ISO 100 B gate is shot for 5 minutes, with an interval of one second, and then the shooting will be modified according to the brightness of that night. It will take at least 2 hours to reach the perfect orbit. This is the setting for me to go out and shoot the star track.
