The annual long-distance cycling was planned at the beginning of the year, and the general direction came back from cycling in Yunnan, Sichuan last year. From Xiangxi to Kunming, Yunnan, to Xishuangbanna, (Lugu Lake, Shangri-La, Ruili and Tengchong have all ridden). The daily itinerary depends on the scenery and intensity of the road. Every time I relive the ups and downs on those long-distance roads, I will always be intoxicated for a long time, so I am full of yearning and expectation for the new journey.

Because Xiangxi is located in Wuling Mountain area in the east of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, its unique landform has given birth to amazing natural scenery, and it has been at the forefront of the Central Plains Dynasty and southwest ethnic minorities since ancient times, leaving a rich and charming cultural landscape in this area. The Tianmen Cave hanging high in the sky, renamed Wangcun in furong town because of Liu Xiaoqing, the Aizhai Highway that countless car fans dreamed of conquering, the tea cave in the border town, the noisy ancient town of Fenghuang, and the Qili Bridge in Zhijiang surrendered by the Japanese invaders, etc., are really lifelong regrets for people who like to ride.

? I chose a cultural and human landscape tour of Xiangxi Ancient Town-Qianyang Ancient Town-Zhijiang Ancient Town-Fenghuang Ancient Town-Ganzhou Ancient Town-Aizhai Bridge-Murong Miao Village-Liye Ancient Town-Furong Ancient Town-Border Town.

The first phase of the route goes deep into the hinterland of western Hunan, so the journey is longer, the time is longer, the difficulty is greater and the scenery is more beautiful. You can enjoy the original natural scenery and the ethnic customs of Miao and Tujia in Wuling Mountain area to the maximum extent.

? When planning the cycling route on the map, it is found that the mountainous area in the southeast of Hunan is vast and sparsely populated, and the distance between counties is far away. In order to see more scenery and accumulate more experience, I sometimes deliberately avoid the main road and bypass the county town. The towns I pass through are estimated to be pocket-sized. So I'm worried about whether there are hotels in every town. What if it's not? So the route must have at least two plans every day, one strong and one weak. Considering the weather, route, health, scenery and other factors, it is necessary to ensure that you can reach a place with accommodation around 3 pm every day.

Riding in Xiangxi and Qiandongnan is like finding a treasure, but the road I rode only found a small part of the treasure, and there are many attractive heavyweight roads and destinations, such as Jinping (Longli Ancient City), Liping (Tianshengqiao, Liping Conference Site, Zhaoxing Dongzhai Drum Tower, Diping Fengyu Bridge, etc.), Congjiang (Basha Miao Gunmen Tribe, etc. ), Rongjiang, Liping.

On July 8th, D 10, it rained occasionally in Mao Mao on cloudy days. I rode more than 20 kilometers to Huayuan County first. The prosperity of Huayuan County is beyond my understanding of Xiangxi County these days. It's raining in Huayuan county, so I'm going to stay. I asked several hotels (about 120 yuan) that were out of our price range to have a rest. It's still early and the rain is light, so I decided to continue riding for more than 20 years.
