There are three possibilities that computers can't access the Internet, which need to be solved one by one:

First, the network signal is missing;

Second, the network equipment is damaged;

Third, the network settings are wrong.

First, the network signal:

(4) Strong signal interference sources such as radio transmission towers, welding machines, trams or high-voltage power transformers within 0/00 meters of wireless equipment and cables may also cause strong interference to wireless signals or equipment.

(5) When communicating outdoors, weather conditions also have a great influence on wireless signals. When it is raining or cloudy, the signal is seriously attenuated, and when it is sunny, the signal can travel far.

Second, the network equipment:

1, check whether the network equipment is running normally one by one:

(1) Check whether the wireless router is powered on;

(2) Check whether the wireless router signal indicator is abnormal;

(3) Check whether the wireless network card detection is normal and whether the driver is installed; Some laptops have wireless switches. Is the switch on?

(4) Check whether the wired network card is normal, whether the driver is installed, and whether the network cable and connector are damaged.

You can turn off and restart the modem, wireless router or switch to eliminate problems such as signal blockage or equipment overheating. If conditions permit, it can also be detected and judged by special equipment.

2. Exclusion detection method: users who do not have relevant professional knowledge can use other computers or mobile phones to connect to the network to judge whether it is normal. If the computer or mobile phone can surf the Internet normally in the same network environment, it means that the network signal and network equipment are normal. On the other hand, if all computers or mobile phones can't access the Internet wirelessly, there is something wrong with the wireless routing device or its settings.

Third, the network settings:

1. Dial-up Internet access: generally, for networks connected by routers, log in to the router during network installation, enter the account number and password provided by the network service provider, and automatically dial up the Internet. To connect directly to the computer through a modem, you need to dial manually before accessing the Internet (using a broadband connection provided by the system or a special dialing tool provided by the network provider).

2.IP address setting: If the network signal and network equipment are normal, but the Internet access is still not normal, it is likely that the IP address setting is wrong or the IP address conflicts, or the automatically assigned IP address is not in the same network segment as the actual IP address. The IP address needs to be configured correctly, as follows:

First, take WINXP settings as an example:

(1) Click Network Neighborhood-Local Area Network Connection-Properties;

(2) Click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)- Properties" in the local connection properties window;

(3) Configure the correct IP address, gateway, DNS and other parameters in "Use the following IP address" and "Use the following DNS server address" on the General tab (please refer to the router manual or telephone the broadband provider for specific parameters; If DCHP is turned on in the router settings and the correct IP address can be automatically assigned, you can set the IP address and DNS to "automatic search").

If there are other computers in the same network that can surf the Internet normally using WIFI, you can get the correct IP address and other network parameters through the "ipconfig /all" command. The operation steps are as follows:

(1) Open the start menu, find "Attachments" from all programs, then open a command prompt from the attachments, enter the command "ipconfig /all" and press Enter.

(2) After executing the command to display all network configurations, find the IPv4 address. The following values are available IP addresses, and of course, the active and standby addresses of gateways and DNS servers, and write them down. Go back to the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) property window, fill in the data you just wrote one by one, and then check "Verify Settings when Exit" for better verification and confirmation. If the above parameters are invalid, you can check the router manual or call the network provider to confirm.

3. Network security: regularly use security software such as 360 Security Guard or similar software to detect whether it is infected by virus or attacked by network, so as to take corresponding measures.

4. Other settings: If the above operation fails, you need to log in to the modem or router to check whether the parameter settings are normal. For example, whether the network service is closed, whether the MAC address binding is set, etc. In particular, the password of wireless Internet access is incorrect, which may be tampered with by others (because the login account and password of the router are ADMIN or BOOT by default, users who are familiar with the network can log in at any time to modify the parameters, and the IP address of the router login is generally printed on the router shell label, such as: 192. 168. 1).
