Travels of Tengger Desert
We started from Xi 'an, arrived in Yinchuan, and then transferred to the bus to reach the edge of Alashan League desert in Alashan Zuo Qi, Inner Mongolia, and started a five and a half-hour hike. Then I went camping, barbecued, held a bonfire party, put on Kongming lanterns and left the desert by bus the next day. I also played desert drift on the way.
DAY 1 our army assembled at Yinchuan railway station at 8 am on April 2. Considering that we were still at work the day before, we bought a train in the afternoon of April 1 Sunday. Prepare what you want to bring in advance, please take half a day off and go directly to the railway station after work.
In this way, you don't have to take time off all day to delay your work, and you don't have to consider staying in Yinchuan too early at night; Sleep on the train for one night, arrive at the station at 7: 58 the next morning, and gather with the big troops as soon as they get out of the station, without wasting time.
The breakfast of the day was solved before getting off the train.
At 8: 30 on the same day, the large troops were assembled, and our party took two buses separately, and arrived in Zuo Qi, Alashan, Inner Mongolia in less than two and a half hours.
It takes less than 1 1 to reach Zuo Qi Town in Alashan, and it takes 1 hour to have lunch on the way to the desert. We found a local noodle restaurant to eat a bowl of beef noodles, and then went to a relatively large supermarket nearby to buy water and food.
My husband and I bought three bottles of 1.5 litres of water, and one and a half bottles when we left the desert. Because I usually drink less water, which may be related to my physique. Sometimes a day without drinking water is in sharp contrast to a friend of mine who loves drinking water, so I call her "Buffalo" and she calls me "Camel", haha. But my best friend and her husband bought 5 liters of bottled water and drank less than 600ml when they left the desert.
Because the weather is hot during the day, and the desert is particularly dry and the ultraviolet rays are particularly strong, everyone can decide how much water to buy by comparing their usual drinking water. However, it is recommended to buy bottled water, so that you can hold it in your hand and carry it alone in your bag, which is convenient and can share the weight. My best friend's husband carried water all the way, walked a third of the way, and wanted to get rid of this "big guy" more and more.
Besides buying water, we also bought chocolates, snickers, cucumbers and tomatoes, which can not only fill our stomachs, but also replenish water. Besides, we also bought milk, bread and self-heated rice, because the breakfast the next morning was our own.
After eating and shopping, it was about 12 o'clock, and we set off with the bus again. The bus arrived at the edge of the desert in about 10 minutes. We took water and food for hiking in the desert, changed shoes and covers, put on a sun-proof hat, tied on a scarf and sunglasses, and set off for the desert armed to the teeth.
We walked for five and a half hours from noon 12: 30 to 6: 00 pm. The sand is soft, so every step should be hard. When our unprofessional shoe covers surrendered, sand began to pour into the shoes. The sand is particularly hard after entering the shoes, and my feet hurt every step. I had to walk for a while and pour the sand once. At this time, a good physical strength and a pair of effective shoes are particularly important.
Arrive at Swan Lake, an oasis in the center of the desert at 6 o'clock. We put up a tent, covered it with damp-proof mats and sleeping bags, and watched the sunset while eating barbecue dinner. As the sun slowly sets, the weather begins to get colder and colder. At 7: 30 in the evening, I have put on a down jacket and woolen pants. At 8 o'clock, everyone started a bonfire party, and it was too cold to be near the fire. Considering the damage to the environment and potential safety hazards, we temporarily canceled the plan to release the Kongming Lantern.
Around 9 o'clock, everyone has returned to the tent to rest, because it is getting colder and colder outside, and many people have not brought enough warm clothes. It's dark and quiet outside, and there is no network signal. This environment is conducive to sleep.
At 5: 30 the next morning, everyone started to get up in dribs and drabs. Probably because I went to bed early at night, everyone basically went out of the tent at 6: 30. At the rear of the camp, there is a bathroom built by a prefabricated house. The conditions are relatively poor, the place is relatively small, and there are many of us, so everyone who gets up late is waiting in line to go to the toilet. At this time, it is a bit spectacular from a distance.
At 6 o'clock, the horizon in the distance of Swan Lake began to change color, the sun began to rise slowly, and the temperature was still very low. Everyone stood by the lake and watched the sunrise. This is my first time to watch the sunrise in the desert. It's a bit like watching the sunrise in the state of "Guan Yu, in the river continent". That image is quite wonderful. The sun came out quickly, and before 7 o'clock, my whole face was red.
We finished packing at 8 o'clock, and we all drove out of the desert in a desert SUV. At first glance, the driver of off-road vehicle is an old driver, and there are four people in one car. Hardly had we sat down when he asked if we were ready. We agreed, and before the word "le" was finished, the car started and suddenly jumped out of a distance!
Along the way, the driver tried his best to show us the excitement of "off-road vehicle sliding sand": the car rushed from the lower part of the desert to the highest place, and then swooped down at a very fast speed. Sand and stones are flying outside the window, and we are staggering in the car, screaming and laughing together, thrilling and happy. Every Sha Feng has a diving spot, and we are like riding a roller coaster until we get out of the desert. The SUV only took 30 minutes to walk out of the desert where we walked for 5.5 hours yesterday!
We gathered at the place where we entered the desert yesterday, and washed people's faces there by the way (because there was no place to boil water in Swan Lake, the water we took with us was cold all night). At 9 o'clock, everyone gathered, and we went to the western film and television city by car.
12, the temperature outside will obviously rise again, which is quite different from the temperature in the desert in the morning. Take off your down jacket and pants, and let's get off for lunch first.
There are several good restaurants near the studio, one of which looks high, but the consumption is not high. The four of us ordered four dishes, 1 soup and two bottles of local beer, and the total consumption was less than 100 yuan.
The western film and television city is a film and television base in the northwest. Many famous movies were shot here, the most famous ones are A Chinese Odyssey and Longmen Inn, which show the desolate beauty of the northwest desert, empty, lonely and different.
After dinner, I will go to the cinema. Full admission to the cinema 100 yuan, student ticket to 50 yuan. It took about 2 hours to visit and take photos. Because I like "A Chinese Odyssey" very much, I walked for a long time in the place of a Chinese Odyssey, and other places were just a cursory tour.
Supreme treasure and Xia Zixian left the tower.
At 3 o'clock, the troops assembled and the bus took us to Yinchuan Railway Station. Because we booked the ticket at 8: 30 pm, it was not 6 o'clock when we arrived at the train station, so we had dinner outside the train station and took a leisurely walk.
Arrive in Xi 'an at 10: 30 the next morning.
Other supplementary expenses: 475 yuan/person (including all cars, camping tents and barbecue during the process), 184 * 2 Xi 'an round-trip air ticket to Yinchuan, 100 yuan entrance ticket to Western Film and Television City, plus two days' meals, the total cost is about 1000 yuan/person.
We try to go into battle lightly, but we still need to bring some necessities, such as:
Change clothes: it's hot during the day, so you can wear it normally. But because you sweat a lot when walking, you can wear quick-drying clothes or bring a set of underwear. There is a great temperature difference between morning and evening. Remember to bring cotton-padded clothes or down jackets if you go in April and May. It's cold at night.
Shoes: fine sand can't be poured out when it enters the gap between shoes. It is recommended to wear full-coverage high-heeled shoes or out shoes and professional outdoor shoe covers; If you want to take photos of concave shapes, you can bring an extra pair of shoes.
Others: commonly used drugs (cold medicine, diarrhea medicine, band-aid, etc. ), documents (ID card, telephone, charger, charging treasure, etc. ), toiletries (except for face washing and skin care, with sunscreen. Sun protection is very important. Even on cloudy days, ultraviolet rays are very strong.
PS: If you are camping outside, it is recommended to bring your own sleeping bag and moisture-proof pad, because the thickness of the rented sleeping bag and moisture-proof pad is uncertain. I only bring my own sleeping bag. We are the warmest and most comfortable sleepers in the team, and there is no one.
It is also very important to exercise for a period of time in advance, so that the body can enter the state of exercise first.
