A composition describing the scenery (500 words)

During the "Eleventh" holiday, we took a special train to Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai, and experienced the great rivers and mountains of the motherland such as plateaus, deserts and lakes, and learned about the customs of Tibetans, Tu people and Hui people. Our country is really a big family where many ethnic groups live in harmony, and we have also tasted different flavors of food from all over the world. This is really an unforgettable trip!

On this trip, we took a luxury train, which is very different from the train I used to take. The whole train is a four-person box soft sleeper train, with a thick red wool carpet and even a gold-plated door handle. Smiling conductor always provides us with thoughtful service and delicious meals. In these seven days, the train is like our home. Tired of playing all day, we returned to the clean train and had a sweet sleep in our mobile "home". The next day, our mobile "home" took us to the next stop. It took us through six provinces of Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Ningxia, Qinghai and Gansu, with a total distance of more than 5,500 kilometers.

This trip not only remembered the time on the train, but also remembered the famous scenic spots such as Maijishan Grottoes, Qinghai Lake and Tengger Desert.

Maijishan Grottoes is located in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. Its name comes from the fact that the mountain looks like a pile of wheat from the foot of the mountain. Thousands of clay sculptures are carved on this mountain. They are vivid, diverse and lifelike. It is one of the four largest grottoes in China.

Qinghai Lake, located in Qinghai Province, is the largest saltwater lake in China. Its beauty, only personal participation, is difficult to describe clearly in words. There is a very rare fish, Huangpi, in this salt lake, because it only grows for one or two years or ten years a year, and now it is on the verge of extinction.

Shapotou Scenic Spot in Tengger Desert is located in Ningxia, where I experienced the Yellow River customs and desert scenery. It turns out that this is not a scenic spot. Shapotou Park came into being today after the opening of baotou-lanzhou railway.

During this trip, we also bought many local specialties, such as Lycium barbarum, Nostoc flagelliforme, sheepskin and licorice, which are called the four treasures of red, black, white and yellow. There are also saffron, rhodiola, dried yak meat and so on. I also bought natural handicrafts such as Helan stone ornaments and desert roses. I really like these specialties. In order to buy more souvenirs in these seven days, I always say to my mother, "This is a contribution to the west"!

When I got home, I was still immersed in happy memories, which I couldn't forget for a long time. This is really an unforgettable trip.
