Where do you grow grapes in Sanya? Is there a place to make wine in Sanya?
Nanhai Net Baoyou 65438+1October 1 1 (Reporter Shao Changchun special correspondent Sun Tixiong) Hainan has long been listed as a "forbidden area" for grape growth because of its special geographical location and climatic conditions. Taiwanese businessman Yang successfully introduced nearly 300 mu of grapes in Ledong and Sanya of our province by using agricultural high technology. During the New Year's Day this year, a new batch of grapes enjoyed a bumper harvest, completely breaking the previous conclusion that "Hainan is not suitable for growing grapes".
Grapes in Hainan are sweet and refreshing.
In the Taiwanese farm of Sanhe Company, Hekou Village Committee of Guoli Town, Ledong Li Autonomous County, the reporter saw rows of grapes growing vigorously, and some of them were mature. Pick a few and taste for yourself. They are sweet and refreshing. No matter the appearance or taste, it is no different from the mainland grapes sold in the market.
Jiang Baolai, head of grape introduction in Sanheli Company, told Hainan Daily that since the 1970s and 1980s, some people have tried to grow grapes in Hainan, but all failed. Therefore, some experts once concluded that "grapes can't be planted in Hainan, and grapes blossom and bear fruit in Hainan for two years and fail in three years."
"We have dozens of acres of grape fields in Ledong, and this year is the third year's result, completely breaking the theory that' Hainan grapes will die in three years'." For Jiangbao, the company will consider further expanding the planting scale and replanting all the leased land of 1 1,000 mu with grapes.
The seedlings come from Taiwan Province Province and other places.
It is understood that Taiwanese businessman Yang took his family to Hainan to develop agriculture in the 1990s and founded Sanheli Company. Since 2003, he began to try to grow grapes, and introduced them on a large scale in February 2006. Today, the company owns more than 65,438+070 mu of grape fields in Ledong, plus nearly 300 mu in Sanya.
For Jiangbao, through technical cooperation with Taichung Improved Farm in Taiwan Province Province, South African Tropical Grape Experimental Station, Royal Thai Academy of Sciences and Japan Grape Cooperation Co., Ltd., combined with Hainan's climate characteristics and soil properties, through scientific resistance introduction experiments and the use of biological genes to induce resistance, the company's planting technology has reached the international leading level.
Shi Lishan, a farm technician, said that the root cause of the failure of planting grapes in Hainan in the past was the wrong seeds and methods used. In the past, everyone used grape seedlings from Xinjiang and other places, and the cultivation techniques used were also mainland, which was not suitable for the climate and water and soil conditions in Hainan. The company's grape seedlings are selected from Taiwan Province Province, Thailand and other regions, with excellent heat resistance. After a period of cultivation in Hainan, it was airlifted to Shandong and other places for breeding, and then shipped back to Hainan for grafting.
From the initial experimental period of more than 200 varieties, year by year screening, Ledong Farm currently has 28 varieties of grapes.
Shi Lishan said: "Only Hainan grapes can bear fruit twice in winter, and because of the large temperature difference between day and night, the taste sweetness is five degrees higher than that of mainland grapes."
There can be four results a year.
For Jiang Bao, Hainan grapes can bear fruit four times a year, but at present, in order to improve the quality of grapes, they use high technology to limit the fruiting time and yield of grapes. "The benefits of growing fruits in Hainan are anti-season and jet lag. From New Year's Day to Spring Festival, we will harvest a batch of grapes for sale. By March-May this year, after all the grapes in the northern stock were sold out, it was the turn of Hainan grapes to play the leading role. "
It is understood that compared with the high investment of more than RMB 1 00000 per mu in the flower industry, the investment of RMB1year is only RMB 8,000 per mu, and the annual cost thereafter is only RMB 4,000; Compared with the high risk of cantaloupe in greenhouse, the grape planting technology is not complicated and there is no need for facilities such as greenhouse; Compared with the annual income of bananas of 2,000 to 3,000 yuan per mu, the average annual profit of grapes is more than 20,000 yuan per mu, with a difference of nearly 10 times.
Xu Gang, director of the Taiwan Province Affairs Office of the province, said that Taiwan Province Province has a long history of growing grapes, which began in the 1960s. Hainan has good conditions, but the grape industry is blank. The successful introduction of grapes by Taiwanese businessmen made up for this shortcoming and became a model of agricultural cooperation between Qiongtai and Taiwan.
There is no place to make wine yet!
