Where is Yixing?

Yixing is located at 3 1 07 '-3 1 37 '- east longitude1kloc-0/931-12003' north latitude. Located at the southern tip of Jiangsu Province, the center of the triangle of Jiangsu, Nanjing and Hangzhou. It is adjacent to Taihu Lake in the east, Changxing in Zhejiang in the southeast, Guangde in Anhui in the southwest, Liyang in the west, Jintan in the northwest, Wujin in the north and Gehu in the middle. The total area of the city is 2038.7 square kilometers. At the end of the year, the cultivated land was 9910.4 million mu. The terrain is high in the south and low in the north. The heat condition is good, with the annual average temperature of 15.7oC, the average temperature of the hottest month in summer of 28.3oC, the annual average frost-free period of more than 240 1 day, the growing period of about 250 days, the accumulated temperature of 54 18oC, and sufficient sunshine hours, with the most sunshine hours in July and August. Crops can be cooked 2-3 times a year. There is abundant precipitation, which is rainy all year round. The annual average rainy days are 136.6 days, the annual average precipitation is 1 177 mm, and the rain is concentrated in spring and summer. Surface water and groundwater are abundant.
