There is a stone lion in Hubei Province. Once the stone lion "sweats", it will rain. Why?

Yesterday morning, Master Jinyun, the abbot of Long Shao Temple, revealed an anecdote for the first time to the tourists who came to visit the victory during the National Day holiday: there are a pair of well-preserved stone lions in the temple. Whenever the lions sweat, it indicates that it will rain the next day.

Long Shao Zen Temple, located at Wufeng Mountain in Zhenjiang, was founded in 825 (Tang Dynasty), and has been the lower house of Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang since the Qing Emperor Kangxi. The reporter saw that the pair of stone lions were located in Fahua, downstairs of the temple, each 70 cm high. The lions were covered with a layer of quaint moss, and a male and a female sat on both sides.

The male lion is above and the female lion is below. The carving technique is exquisite and delicate, and the modeling expression is majestic and realistic, which is amazing. Fallon, a monk from Temple Prison in Long Shao, said, "The pair of stone lions are like' weathermen'. If you want to know whether it will rain tomorrow, you only need to look at the stone lion. If the lion is sweaty and wet all over, it will definitely rain tomorrow. It is a good day not to sweat, and it will remain unchanged for hundreds of years. " He told reporters that there is no such strange phenomenon in other stones in the temple, but it is strange to the stone lion and has always been an unsolved mystery.

According to Master Jinyun, the pair of stone lions originated in the early Ming Dynasty and have lived in Fahua downstairs of the temple for hundreds of years, guarding the Buddhist temple day and night. During the Cultural Revolution, the pair of stone lions were secretly poached and sold for money. They were found in Zhenjiang Museum 1985. After six years of negotiations, the stone lions were finally returned to Long Shao Temple at 199 1, and now they are the treasures of the town temple.

Some people say it may be because of the special material of stone lions. When the weather changes, the humidity in the air becomes higher and the temperature drops, which makes the stone lion seem to be sweating. Some people also say that the stone lion is the embodiment of the gods, forecasting the weather, blessing the people, good weather and abundant crops; Others said. . .

What is the reason why the lion sweats? Scientists haven't worked it out yet. I only believe in science and have faith in my heart.
