Jiayuguan City, also known as "Border Lock Key" and "Gobi Steel City", is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Gansu Province, an important node city in Gansu section of the Silk Road Economic Belt, a sub-central city in the province, and an important metallurgical and advanced manufacturing base in China.
