What's the use of weather warning?

Weather early warning is mainly to warn of future weather disasters and do a good job of disaster prevention and mitigation in advance.

For example, in June 2022, many places in Guangdong were hit by heavy rain or torrential rain. The water levels of three rivers exceeded the warning level, and the rainfall in some areas exceeded 50 years. This heavy rainfall process is the strongest rainfall since the flood season this year, involving a wide range, long duration, large accumulated rainfall and high disaster risk. The local daily rainfall may exceed the historical extreme value in the same period, so the earliest orange rainstorm warning came in recent 10 years.

In contrast, after May Day, cold air followed, making people in the north feel the deep chill in May. Under the influence of cold air, when the temperature in most parts of the north drops to the process low point, it will be significantly lower than normal.

The highest temperature in Hetao area of Inner Mongolia, most of Shanxi, central and western Hebei and other places may exceed the lowest value in the same period in the past 30 years.
