Will the tire leak in hot weather?

When the weather is hot, the tire may leak slowly.

The reason is that when the weather is hot, the tire pressure in the tire will increase due to the principle of thermal expansion and contraction, but the tire and the hub are not completely sealed, and it is easier to leak air from the hub if the tire pressure is too high. In the season with large temperature difference between day and night, it is necessary to check the tire pressure frequently. Usually, the cycle of checking tire pressure is about 2 months. If the temperature difference is large, it can be checked once every month/kloc-0.

Importance of adopting proper tire pressure

Too low or too high tire pressure will affect the life and fuel consumption of the tire itself. Excessive tire pressure will concentrate the weight of the car body on the center of the tread, resulting in rapid wear of the tread center. However, if the tire pressure is too low, it is easy to cause uneven tire contact area, increased wear, increased rolling resistance and increased fuel consumption.

The left and right tire pressures should be the same. When the tire pressure on one side is too low, the vehicle will shift to this side during driving and braking. At the same time, it should be noted that the two tires on the same axle should have the same pattern specifications, and the two front wheels should not use tires with different patterns from different manufacturers at the same time, otherwise there will be deviations.

Daily maintenance of tires

1, check whether the tire reaches the warning line of wear mark (trench depth) at ordinary times, and replace the tire in normal use immediately when it reaches this mark.

2. Check the air pressure at least once every two months. You can't just check its sinking visually. If you find that the air pressure is insufficient, find out the cause of the air leakage.

3. Always check whether the tires are damaged, such as nails and cuts, and repair or replace the damaged tires in time.

4. Once the two front wheels are repaired, they should be adjusted to the rear wheel in time to ensure that there are no hidden dangers in the two front wheels. Remove the stones in the groove in time to avoid tire crown deformation.

5. Avoid tire contact with oil and chemicals.

6. Regularly check the four-wheel alignment of the vehicle. If the positioning is found to be poor, it should be corrected in time, otherwise it will cause irregular tire wear and affect the service life of the tire.
