Common weather systems

1, Cyclone: Temperate cyclones mainly appear in East Asia, North America, Mediterranean and other regions, and tropical cyclones appear more frequently in the northern hemisphere than in the southern hemisphere.

2. Anti-cyclone: In the ocean, there are subtropical anti-cyclones all year round. On the mainland, subtropical high often appears in winter, but due to the high temperature in summer, various monsoons are formed and the high pressure zone is broken.

3. Warm front: Warm front is mostly active in northeast China and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

4. Cold front: The cold front is the most common front in China, which can move all over the country, especially in the northwest.

5. Shear line: It appears in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River all year round, with the most frequent occurrence in late spring and early summer.
