Why does Kameyama Island, which hangs alone at sea, have the phenomenon of smoking and wagging its tail? The so-called "glans penis" is actually a volcanic cone. In the past, sulfur pores were ejected from time to time to form smoke, which did not disperse until mid-air. From a distance, the head seems to be smoking; The tail is a strip composed of andesite and pebbles, which becomes the natural breakwater of the fishing port on the island, extending about 1000 meters and 3 meters high. The pebbles on it are very unstable. For example, a southerly wind at sea often pushes pebbles to the north. If the north wind blows, the huge waves from the north will slowly push the pebbles to the south, so it is difficult for the turtle tail to stabilize in a fixed direction. Local fishermen call it a wagging tail, which makes Kameyama Island a living giant turtle that can spit smoke and wag its tail.
