Leeward and shady:

When camping in the wild, it seems that the problem is not big, but whether you can have a good rest and sleep well will not affect your energy to continue to complete the crossing the next day, which is a big problem; Especially in some valleys and beaches, you should choose a leeward place to camp, and the sliding door of the tent should not be windward. The leeward side of camping is also considered for the safety and convenience of using fire in the wild. How do you know that the tent mouth is leeward? Very simple, just grab a handful of sand or snow and hold it in your hand. If not, use a small piece of cloth instead. The direction of the tent mouth facing sand or snow is downwind.

If you need to stay in a camp for more than two days, you should choose a cool place to camp when the weather is good, such as under a big tree and to the north of the mountain. It is best to bask in the sun in the morning, not at night. In this way, if you rest during the day, the tent will not be too stuffy; Another method is to use an altimeter or compass to determine the direction of the east. We know that the sun rises in the east. Choose a ridge or a big tree in front of the tent in the east to block the sunrise so that you can continue to sleep well in the morning.

2. The tent area must be above the outdoor fire, and don't let the fire camp.

Sleeping outdoors in Shan Ye may be attacked by threatening animals or bad people. The tent area can be surrounded by irritating substances such as lime and realgar powder to prevent the harassment of reptiles such as snakes, insects, rats and ants.

I usually sprinkle a circle of irritating substances such as realgar powder in the tent area, and then set up a camp trigger alarm rope buffer zone outside this area. If a large animal comes in and triggers the alarm horn, it must be checked urgently. Setting the trigger alarm rope can use the small trees on the edge of the camp. If it doesn't work, nail it underground with a trekking stick instead.

Stay away from danger: when choosing a camp, you can't stick it under the cliff, which is very dangerous. Once there is a strong wind on the mountain, stones and other things may be scraped off, causing casualties. In rainy season or lightning-prone areas, the camp must not be built on high ground, high trees or isolated flat land, which is easy to attract lightning strikes. Try to camp near the village or the nearest point with a house or on the side of the road. When you are near the village, it must also be a shortcut, that is, close to the highway, so that if there is an accident, it is convenient for the camp to move and ask for help.

I experienced two unexpected night camp shifts. One is the camp transfer under the snowstorm that passed through Shennongjia this year. Secondly, it was the night of the 8 14 incident. I passed Guangdong on the 9th of the First Bee Team, and the camp was not far from where they had an accident. At that time, when the temperature was good, you could choose to camp at the highest peak, but before you set off, you paid attention to the weather forecast and knew that there would be thunderstorms in this area, so you chose a place with low terrain and private houses to camp. Fire area for catering and entertainment: catering and fire are generally in the same or similar place. This area should be at a certain distance from the tent area and should be built under the tent area to prevent the tent from being burned by Mars. It is best to cook in a place with mounds and stones, so that you can dig holes and make stoves. Note: Some stones will explode when heated, so be careful. The collected firewood should be piled up outside the area or in the windward, and the camping lamp should be placed in a position that can illuminate a wide range, such as hanging the lamp on a tree, putting it on a stone platform or hanging it with a lamp rack. Get into the habit of keeping a bucket of water or sediment by the fire pit at any time so as to put out the fire at any time. Clean it up after eating, and it can be used as a public entertainment area for big account players.

Water intake area: water. Generally, water is taken from the water source, and washing water and drinking water should be separated. If it is tap water, drinking water should be upstream, and washing and domestic water should be downstream. In the case of lake water, it is also a place to be separated, and the distance between two uses of water should be above 10 meter. This division is for hygiene. In addition, there are many rocks, shrubs and other things in the floodplain where water is taken. As mentioned above, the water intake route should be leveled before dark.

Health Zone: The health zone is a convenient place for players to relieve themselves. Second, the camp discipline of camping

1. When building a tent, the entrance and exit of the tent must be closed. Usually form a good habit, zip up the tent when collecting accounts; When entering or leaving the tent, the tent mouth should be closed in time to prevent mosquitoes and other small animals from flying into the tent to disturb the rest and sleep at night. In many cases, when camping, some players not only don't close the tent, but open the tent door to chat, so they are often harassed by small animals to take pictures in the middle of the night, which affects the rest and sleeping with other players.

2. Put the toe of hiking shoes outward when you rest in the tent. Except sleeping bags and pillows needed for camping at night, other items should be packed in backpacks and placed under the eaves of tents at the exit, so that if there is an emergency at night, you can put on hiking shoes and carry your backpack to escape. Many hikers will leave hiking shoes, backpacks and clothes outside the tent at will when hiking 100 km. If it rains or there is a lot of fog at night, the equipment left outside will get wet. 3. 4. In strict accordance with the schedule arranged by the team leader, it is forbidden to get up at night and make loud noises or play in the camp during the closing time the next day, so as not to affect the normal rest of other players.

5. At night (including night shift), it is forbidden to open a teammate's tent without waking him up quietly, so as not to disturb his teammates in the tent and make them mistakenly think that someone or wild animals will sneak up on him and stab him with a knife, which will lead to an accident.

6. All the tents of the crossing team belong to public equipment, and the team leader has the right to make appropriate distribution. When I usually arrange the tent, I try to arrange the players who want to sing at night together, outside the central area of the tent, so as not to affect the rest of the other players when they sing at night.

7. In principle, players who live in the same tent should be on duty at the same time as far as possible, so as not to wake up their successors in the middle of the night and affect the rest of other players.

8. Comparative ability in principle? Food? Some players try to arrange in the middle of the tent area.
