The formation mechanism of rime is similar to that of rime, which generally appears on cloudy days, mostly caused by cold rain, lasts for a long time, has little daily variation, and can be produced day and night.

Rime is a precipitation phenomenon under a specific weather background. There is a clear difference between rime and surface water icing.
