Air weather
In fact, human beings live at the bottom of the troposphere, which is why the heat source of the troposphere is radiation from the ground. Therefore, the farther the air is from the ground, the lower the temperature. According to the geographical knowledge we have learned, we can know that the temperature drops by 6 degrees Celsius every time the altitude rises 1 000 meters.
It is precisely because of the law that the temperature decreases with the height change in the vertical direction that the air flows in different ways at different heights, so the earth's atmosphere is artificially divided into troposphere, stratosphere and upper atmosphere. The troposphere has the greatest influence on people's lives. Next, I will focus on the characteristics of the troposphere:
The higher the altitude, the colder the weather-if a person is too prominent, he is likely to feel desolate.
In fact, everyone's most direct feeling about this is that when we climb the mountain in hot weather, the foot of the mountain is still sultry, and it will be cool when we reach the top of the mountain. It seems that it was invented by ancient literati when they climbed mountains for fun.
It can be said that it is for this reason that the heat from the ground enters the air through evaporation, and the humid air condenses into small water droplets after rising due to the temperature drop, so it will rain when the conditions are right.
The characteristics of convection are remarkable.
We also said that the air in the troposphere is cold at the top and hot at the bottom, so that the air will form convection, which is also the main reason for the formation of rain and snow. As the heat source of the troposphere, the ground radiates different heat due to different latitudes, so the convection near the equator is strong and the troposphere height is much higher accordingly. Even in the same area, the convective intensity in summer is higher than that in winter.
It can be said that it is precisely because of these characteristics of the troposphere that the high-temperature water vapor and impurities near the ground are transported to the high-altitude low-temperature space through the convective movement of the troposphere, which makes these wet air condense into small water droplets with the change of temperature in the upward movement. In this way, under different climatic conditions, weather phenomena such as clouds, rain, fog and snow are formed.
