Jinchang's four seasons climate belongs to continental temperate arid climate. There is plenty of sunshine, dry climate, year-round north wind, large temperature difference between day and night, four distinct seasons, long frost period and windy spring.

The temperature in the territory is high in the north and low in the south, with less precipitation in the north and more precipitation in the south. From northeast to southwest, it can be roughly divided into five climate zones, namely, mild extreme drought zone and warm cool drought zone; Warm, cold and arid areas; Cold semi-arid area and cold semi-humid area; Cold and humid areas; Cold and humid areas and cold and very humid areas.

Second, summer: it is the season of concentrated rainfall throughout the year. It is said that rain and heat are in the same season, and dry and hot winds often appear. The average temperature is 12.8-22.2℃, the northeast is hot, and the highest temperature can reach 38. 1℃, with few high temperature days in the middle and cooler in the southwest. Precipitation accounts for 54-66% of the annual precipitation, and the precipitation process larger than 5 mm mostly occurs in this season, and there are also heavy rains and heavy rains in some places.

Third, autumn: the temperature is higher in early autumn, slightly more rainy days, the temperature drops faster in mid-autumn and late autumn, and the wind speed increases compared with summer. The invasion of cold air in the north was the earliest in mid-September, and frost often appeared. The monthly average temperature drops by 6-8℃.

4. Winter: Mongolia is mostly controlled by cold and high pressure, with cold weather, less snowfall and dry air. The monthly average minimum temperature is -9.5 ∽- 14.6℃.
