What to do if the glass becomes foggy while driving in winter

When driving in winter, it often happens that fog appears on the glass and affects the driver's vision. Especially in humid weather such as snow or snowfall, the fog on the glass will be more serious than usual. So what should you do if your driving glass fogs up in winter?

When driving glass fogs up in winter, a common solution is to use air conditioner cold air or warm air to defogging. In addition, you can also defogging by spraying defogger, driving the window, etc.

Air conditioner cold air defogging: After pressing the car ac button, adjust the air conditioner to the maximum air volume and let the air outlet blow toward the windshield. During the process of blowing cold wind, the water vapor on the glass will dry and form an air film, which will prevent the water vapor from condensing on the surface, thus playing a role in defogging.

Air conditioning warm air defogging: Rotate the air conditioning knob to the right with the red mark, turn on the hot air, and let the hot air blow toward the windshield. After the temperature of the windshield becomes higher, it acts on the windshield. The temperature difference above the windshield will gradually become smaller and the fog will dissipate. However, when you first use this method, the fog will become more serious and will slowly dissipate later, so do not use it while driving.

Spray demister to remove fog: If you are not sure about the air conditioner or environment, you can use demister to remove fog. Spray defogger on the windshield and then wipe it to form a protective film on the glass, thereby easing window fogging.

Defogging the windows while driving: It is easier to fog up the windows when driving in winter. If you want to eliminate them quickly, you can directly open the windows and let the cold air enter the car; the temperature difference between the inside and outside becomes smaller, and the glass will become foggy. The fog can naturally be eliminated, but it should be noted that this method should be used on sunny days, and it is best not to use it if it is raining or snowing.
