Shangri-La is a pure land hidden at the junction of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet provinces, and it is the location of the "World Natural Heritage" three parallel rivers scenic spot. This place has been unknown for a long time. It was not until 1930s that the British writer james hilton presented it to the world in his famous novel The Lost Horizon. Soon after, the film of the same name was born and won many Oscar awards. Shangri-la's gorgeous natural scenery and unique history and culture are known to the world and become a place that everyone yearns for.

Meili Snow Mountain, located in the center of Shangri-La tourist area, is a world natural heritage of "Three Parallel Rivers". It is the sacred mountain of Tibetan Buddhism. Its main peak, Kawagebo, is 6740 meters above sea level, making it the first peak in Yunnan. It is still the Everest that humans have not reached the top, and it is also the only mountain that is forbidden to climb because of cultural protection. Meili Snow Mountain is a sacred mountain, which is also called the four sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism with Gangrenboqi in Tibet, Animaqing Mountain in Qinghai and Gaduojuevo. According to Tibetan tradition, no one is allowed to climb Meili Snow Mountain, which is a great disrespect to God.

Meili Snow Mountain

Different from other ways of playing in snow-capped mountains, Meili Snow Mountain mainly worships and turns to the mountains, mainly to see Rizhao Jinshan and Kawagebo bees. You can't walk directly or get close to Meili Snow Mountain. Turning mountains is a way of praying in Tibetan Buddhism. It is said that it will bring good luck to go to Meili Snow Mountain to worship in the animal year.

Meili Snow Mountain consists of thirteen peaks. Every sunrise and sunset, the sun pours down, and the peaks shine with golden light, which is amazing. Because Meili Snow Mountain faces the southeast, the best place to see Rizhao Jinshan every morning is Feilai Temple, which is located in the southeast of Meili Snow Mountain. There is a viewing platform and a landscape hotel, which can be viewed directly in the hotel.

Rizhao Jinshan

This is the place where you can see the panoramic view of Meili Snow Mountain. Unlike Feilai Temple, there is not such a big gap with the snow-capped mountains, and the landscape is more spectacular. You can see some snowy mountains at sunset and golden mountains with a little sunshine. The fog is very low-key and many people don't know it, so it is quiet. Friends who like quiet can choose to stay here.

Tips:

The best time to see Meili Snow Mountain is from June 5438+00 to May of the following year, during which the probability of seeing the main peak and other peaks is the highest.

Yubeng Village is located at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain. The land here is vast and sparsely populated, and it is still in a primitive state of life. Surrounded by alpine meadows, snow-capped mountains, waterfalls and glacial lakes. It's just an isolated paradise. You can see the Jinshan Mountain in Rizhao in the morning, and the highland barley is mature and colorful in autumn. Because it is not overexploited, it takes at least 5-6 hours to walk in and out of the landslide.

It takes at least two days for Shangri-La to leave Meili Snow Mountain. It is more than 200 kilometers from Shangri-La to Meili Snow Mountain, and it takes about 5 hours by car. Because there are many mountain roads in Meili Snow Mountain and the road conditions are complicated, especially in rainy season, it is easy to freeze and slippery in winter. It is not recommended to drive by car, but it is better to find a local master.

There are four shuttle buses from Shangri-La to Deqin County every day: 09:20, 10:30, 12:30, 14:30. The fare is 58 yuan, and the journey takes about 4 hours. After arriving in Deqin County, you can transfer to Feilai Temple in Meili Snow Mountain. There is no shuttle bus from Deqin to Feilai Temple. After the shuttle bus arrives in Deqin County, you can take a taxi or carpool with a donkey friend to Feilai Temple, which takes 20 minutes to get there.

Raindrop hiking route

After seeing Jinshan in Rizhao, it takes about an hour and a half to drive to Xidang Hot Spring, the starting point of walking in the rain collapse. It takes about five or six hours to walk from here to Shangyubeng Village. There are colorful forests along the way, overlooking the snowy mountains. This road is 16 km on foot, uphill 10 km, and downhill for 6 km, and it is probably evening when we arrive at the rain collapse.

Pudacuo National Forest Park has two beautiful plateau lakes-Bitahai Lake and Shudu Lake, where there are unique geological features, blue lake wetlands, lush meadows, trickling valleys and streams, and rare animals and plants. Walking in the park, you can feel the unique refreshing temperament of the plateau, and you can see little squirrels jumping down from trees from time to time.

Zhudu Lake is surrounded by mountains. The lake is clear and blue, with wild flowers in full bloom in summer and dense forests in autumn. Before sunrise in late autumn, the water vapor on the lake condensed into fog, forming a "morning fog reflection".

Miting is a plateau meadow, where yak herds are scattered. At first glance, the scenery is picturesque and natural.

Shuttle bus: Shangri-La Bus Station has four shuttle buses to Pudacuo every day, with departure times of 08:00, 08:30 and 09:30 respectively, and return times of 14:00, 14:30, 15:00 and/kloc-0 respectively.

Charter: The cost is about 100 yuan for one-way trip to 200 yuan, 150. Carpooling around 50 yuan/person. When you go, you'd better make an appointment with the driver to pick up the car and leave the driver's phone number to avoid missing the car when you come back.

When you visit scenic spots, you need to buy both scenic spot tickets and bus tickets. After entering the scenic spot, you can take the scenic bus to the parking lot of each scenic spot immediately. The three main scenic spots are all by bus, but you can visit them in other ways in your own scenic spots. For example, at the first scenic spot, the bus will take you to the parking lot of Shudu Lake, and then you can choose to visit Shudu Lake scenic spot on foot, by boat or by bus. If you take a boat, you need to buy a boat ticket at the designated place in the scenic spot.

If you can adapt to the local plateau climate and have good physical strength, it is recommended to go hiking, so that you can have enough time to enjoy the grass and trees here carefully and sometimes have enough time to take pictures.

Dukezong Ancient City is the best preserved and largest Tibetan residential group in China. Friends who like to know the local national culture must come here. Moonlight Square, located in the center of the ancient city, witnessed the prosperity of the ancient tea-horse road. Giant prayer wheel in Dukezong ancient city, there is a giant prayer wheel with a height of 2 1 m and a total weight of 60 tons. This prayer wheel is made of gold-plated pure copper, and contains 1.24 million sutras, six-character mantra and various treasures * * * 16 tons. It needs four or five people to work together to turn it. Be sure to make three pious turns here, and good luck will surround you.

Moonlight Square is located in the center of the ancient city. At night, everyone will gather around the campfire, holding hands, stepping on simple pots and village steps and dancing in the music. Whether it is the aborigines who appreciate it or the tourists who watch it, it is easy to feel the joyful atmosphere. Strange boundaries between travelers disappear with singing and dancing.

The ancient city of Dukezong is near Shangri-La County. You can take bus No.9 and get off at Chichika South Station.

Gadansong Zanlin Temple is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan Province, which occupies an important position in the whole Tibetan area and is known as the "Little Potala Palace". The temple, built on the hill and shaped like an old castle, is a masterpiece of plastic arts in Tibet, also known as the "Tibet Art Museum". The building is resplendent and colorful, with gilded copper tiles, cornices of Yubao Corner, spacious and magnificent Zhacang Hall, where many Buddha statues are enshrined, and the murals on both sides of the west wing are beautifully carved.

There are many historical treasures in the temple, including eight gold-plated Siddhartha Gautama, Bayleaf Sutra, multicolored gold-painted Thangka, gold, various exquisite gold-plated or silver incense burners, and perpetual lanterns. There are more than 200 pieces of Ganzhuer (two of which are golden juice calligraphy) and Danzhuer in the temple.

Tips:

1. Shangri-La belongs to the plateau area, and there may be some snowflakes in summer. It is recommended to bring coats, down jackets, gloves and non-slip boots. Coupled with the dry climate and strong ultraviolet rays, women should prepare sunscreen, sun hats and sunglasses, especially after 10. June to September is the rainy season in Diqing Plateau every year. Usually people choose to play in spring and summer.
