In order to ensure the air quality during the World Athletics Championships in Beijing and the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the Baoding Municipal Government decided to take the extraordinary measure of Class I response measures for heavily polluted weather from August 20th to September 4th, 20 15.

Large trucks are prohibited from passing in Baoding city, and traffic control is implemented in urban areas and counties (cities, districts). Motor vehicles with single and even numbers are restricted: odd-numbered vehicles pass for one day, and even-numbered vehicles pass for two days. If the tail number of the license plate is a letter, the last number shall prevail.

No-go area for trucks: it is forbidden for trucks with 0.6 tons or above to pass through urban roads west of East Second Ring Road, south of North Second Ring Road, north of Sanfeng Road (including the above roads) and east of West Second Ring Road (excluding the above roads) for 24 hours.

The restricted areas of odd and even numbers are: areas within the East Second Ring Road, Sanfeng Road, West Second Ring Road and North Second Ring Road (including the above roads) in the urban area.

Single and even number restrictions do not include military, police, environmental law enforcement, fire fighting, first aid, emergency rescue, postal service (express delivery), insurance inspection and rescue, people's livelihood security, sanitation vehicles, and unit commuter cars, buses, taxis and other vehicles that are not restricted by driving routes and driving directions as stipulated by laws and regulations. All units should strengthen the management of the above-mentioned vehicles, and control the vehicle travel of their own units according to the principle of "ensuring demand and minimum dispatching". Non-local vehicles driving in the first period will be advised to drive once, checked and confirmed twice, and punished three times according to law.

During the restricted period, the electronic police will electronically capture the freight vehicles that violate the forbidden roads and the vehicles that violate the limit number, and the public security traffic control department will impose penalties according to law.

Restricted dates include legal holidays and weekends.
