7-day weather forecast of Mogao grottoes

April is spring, but the weather is changeable. Wearing a thick coat is drier than other seasonal winds.

The first day: Shanghai arrived in Lanzhou by plane, visited Lanzhou Baili Yellow River amorous feelings line, and stayed in Lanzhou (Waterwheel, Yellow River Mother, Baita Mountain and Zhongshan Bridge).

The next day: Take the T9205 train (07: 29/ 12: 29) in the morning, then transfer to Zhangye, visit Danxia Geopark, take a two-hour train to Jiayuguan in the evening, and stay in Jiayuguan in the evening.

On the third day, I visited Jiayuguan Tower, which is the first pier in the world. Go to Dunhuang by car in the afternoon and stay in Dunhuang at night.

Day 4: The Mogao Grottoes and Crescent Spring in Mingsha Mountain (half a day each) stay in Dunhuang at night.

Day 5: Depart from the hotel in the morning, visit Yumenguan and Ya Dan ghost town, return to Dunhuang in the evening, end the trip, and return to Lanzhou by train in the evening.

Day 6: Return to Lanzhou and fly to Shanghai.

This route can visit all the classic scenic spots in Hexi Corridor of Gansu Province, with free travel and plenty of time. It is also good to buy a round-trip air ticket from Shanghai to Lanzhou in April. You can join a group or charter a car in sections. Free travel is very cost-effective.
