The temperature is 2567-2779℃, the precipitation is 635-679 mm, and the soil is chernozem, which is fertile. European grape (V. vinifera) can't survive in cold winter, while wild grape (V. amurensis) has become the main variety cultivated here because of its strong cold resistance. According to the statistics of 1960, the total amount of wild vitis amurensis in Northeast China at that time had reached 15000 tons, which was mainly used for wine making.
2. Jiaodong Peninsula production area
Including the northern hills of Shandong Peninsula and Daze Mountain. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it has a good climate and four distinct seasons. Due to the influence of the ocean, compared with the inland at the same latitude, the climate is mild, with no heat in summer and no cold in winter. The main climatic characteristics of Jiaodong Peninsula: in terms of temperature, the western part of the peninsula is higher than the eastern part, the northern part is higher than the southern part, and the coastal part is higher than the inland part. Laizhou, Pingdu, Penglai and Longkou are high temperature areas with an annual average temperature of 12.0- 12.6℃. There is more precipitation in the eastern part of the peninsula, and less precipitation in Dazeshan, Laizhou, Longkou, Zhaoyuan and Penglai in the west, about 676.4 mm, and the sunshine decreases from the eastern coast of the peninsula to the hilly and mountainous areas in the northwest, with as many as 2834.43 hours in Dazeshan, Longkou and Penglai in the northwest. The grapes here, such as Chardonnay, Guirenxiang, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Kerry Brewing and Baiyouni, are all famous in China.
3. Changli producing area
Changli is located at 39 degrees 25 minutes to 47 minutes north latitude, in the northeast of Hebei Province. It belongs to the warm temperate zone in the eastern monsoon region, with a semi-humid continental climate and four distinct seasons. Sunshine, rainfall, temperature difference between day and night, frost-free period and so on are very similar to Bordeaux, a wine producing area in France. It borders Bohai Sea in the east, Yanshan Mountain in the north and Luanhe River in the southwest. Influenced by the Shanhai River, it has formed a unique regional feature. The annual effective accumulated temperature is above 3,940 degrees, the precipitation is 725mm, the annual sunshine hours are 2,600-2,800 hours, and the average temperature difference between day and night is 65,438 02 degrees. The soil is gravelly sandy, with high sugar content, long fruiting time and late harvest period, which is suitable for planting wine grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
4. Shacheng production area
Including Xuanhua, Zhuolu and Huailai. It is located in the north of the Great Wall, with abundant sunshine and moderate heat. The temperature difference between day and night is large, the summer is cool, the climate is dry and the rainfall is small. The annual accumulated temperature is 3532℃, the annual precipitation is 4 13 mm, the soil is cinnamon soil, sandy and hilly, which is very suitable for grape growth. Longan and milk grapes are the specialties here. In recent years, world-famous wine varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have been popularized.
5. Tianjin production area
Tianjin grape base is located in Jixian, Hangu and other places in Tianjin, belonging to the semi-humid area of Bohai Bay, with effective accumulated temperature of 2000-3000℃, active accumulated temperature of 3700-4200℃, annual rainfall of 500-600 mm, and average temperature of 25-26℃ in the warmest month. The temperature in the warmest month and fruit ripening season in the eastern coastal areas such as Hangu, Tanggu and Ningxian in Tianjin is 1-2℃ lower than that in Tianjin. Coastal climate is conducive to the formation of color and fragrance, and the quality of rose fragrance is the most prominent. The soil here is a slightly sticky coastal saline-alkali land, rich in mineral nutrients, which is conducive to the formation of aroma and color. The temperature in the eastern mountainous areas and Zunhua, Qianxi and Xinglong mountainous areas in the northeast of Jixian County has obviously decreased, and the maturity of late-maturing and extremely late-maturing varieties is about 10 days later than that in the plain. The soil is mostly loam or sandy loam rich in gravel and calcium, which is a good base for producing high-quality dry red and dry white grape varieties. At present, most of the grape varieties planted in Tianjin and other places are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Guirenxiang, Chardonnay, Baiyuni, Rose Fragrant and other famous varieties for brewing red and white dry wine.

Longan in Qingxu is a local specialty. In recent years, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have also begun to be used in wine making.
7. Ningxia producing areas
Including the vast alluvial plain along the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, the climate is dry and the temperature difference between day and night is large. The annual active accumulated temperature is 3298-335 1℃ and the annual precipitation is 180-200mm. The soil is sandy loam with gravel, and the soil layer is 30-180-200mm. This is the largest wine grape base newly developed in northwest China, mainly planting world wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
8. Gansu Wuwei production area
Including Wuwei, Minqin, Gulang, Zhangye and other counties and cities on the edge of Tengger Desert, it is also a new wine producing area on the Silk Road in China. The climate here is cool and dry, with the annual active accumulated temperature of 2800-3000℃ and the annual precipitation of110 mm. Because there is no heat, it is cold in winter, which is suitable for the growth of early and middle ripening grape varieties. In recent years, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have been developed.
9. Xinjiang producing areas
Including Shanshan River and Hongliuhe River in Turpan Basin, which are 300 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains, with frequent hot air. The summer temperature is extremely high, reaching over 45℃, and the annual active accumulated temperature is 5319℃. Rainfall is scarce, only 16.4mm throughout the year. This is the production and drying base of seedless white grapes in China. More than ten years ago, Guo Qichang, a famous wine expert, tried to plant wine chrysanthemums such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Huokeng, Syrah and Lilac here. Although glucose is high, the acidity is low, the flavor is insufficient and the quality of dry wine is poor. The sweet wine produced has the characteristics of western regions and its quality is still good.
10. Old Yellow River production area
Including Xiaoxian in Anhui, Lankao in Henan, Quan Min and other old Yellow River areas, the climate is hot, and the annual accumulated temperature is 4000-4590℃. The annual precipitation is more than 800mm, concentrated in summer, so the grapes grow vigorously, the diseases are serious and the quality is declining. In recent years, the newly developed winemaking bases in some wineries have basically controlled the epidemic of diseases by introducing late-maturing varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and improving cultivation techniques, and the quality of grapes is expected to be improved.
1 1. Yunnan producing area
Including Maitreya, Dongchuan, Yongren and Panzhihua on the Jinsha River at the border of Sichuan and Yunnan, where the altitude of Yunnan Plateau is 1500m. The soil is mostly red soil and brown soil. The climate here is characterized by abundant sunshine, sufficient heat and timely precipitation. June of last year to June of the following year is an obvious dry season, with precipitation of 329mm (Maitreya, Yunnan) and 100mm (Panzhihua, Sichuan), which is suitable for the growth and ripening of wine grapes. Taking advantage of the natural advantages and unique microclimate in dry season, cultivating Eurasian grapes has become a major feature of grape planting in southwest China.
