Is Chengdu suitable to live?

As someone who has stayed in Chengdu for three years, I still have a certain say in this issue. Chengdu is a city where people don’t want to leave once they arrive. Here you can enjoy a slow-paced life that is different from other cities. Many people say that if you get up too early in Chengdu, you may not be able to have breakfast, because Chengdu wakes up around ten o'clock. Therefore, Chengdu is definitely a city suitable for living, but if you are the kind of person who likes the excitement and fast pace, Chengdu may not be suitable for you.

When it comes to whether a city is suitable for one person to live in, we often analyze it from the perspective of climate, economic development, and humanistic customs. Let’s talk about climate first. Chengdu has a subtropical humid climate, so climate changes are relatively obvious. But my experience in the past few years of living in Chengdu is that it is not so cold that I shiver in winter, and girls can even wear small skirts when going out without feeling too cold. In summer, it won’t be so hot that it feels like baking in a steamer, because the weather in Chengdu will give you an unexpected rainstorm from time to time! So as far as the weather is concerned, it is relatively user-friendly.

Let’s talk about Chengdu’s economy. Chengdu should be considered a commercial city, so you can easily find an office job here. However, you can also start your own business, such as developing a catering industry. For the people of Chengdu, all kinds of fresh and delicious food can keep their hearts. However, the catering industry all has one common feature, and that is spicy! In addition, Chengdu's tourism industry is also remarkable. In the center of Chengdu, there are Wuhou Temple, Kuanzhai Alley and other tourist attractions that attract people.

Finally, there is the humanities and customs. Chengdu people may have a more aggressive personality because they love spicy food, but this kind of aggressiveness refers to the straightforward character of Chengdu people.

Various teahouses can be found everywhere in Chengdu, because playing mahjong is an indispensable entertainment activity for Chengdu people!

So overall, Chengdu is a livable city, where you can enjoy life to the fullest!
