Jinghe South is located in Jinghe County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Jinghe County belongs to Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In the 14th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1888), Jinghe Zhili Fumin Hall was established, and in the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), Jinghe Hall was changed to Jinghe County.
