Primary schools with mountains and water (1)

? Text/Bai Fuxian

? At the end of August 2008, I responded to the Party's three major policies and went to Bailong Primary School in Jiangcun Town to teach.

? It is said that Bailong Primary School is located at the foot of Qinling Mountain, in the southwest corner of Huxian County. Surrounded by mountains and rivers and backed by Qinling Mountains, Ganhe River is a beautiful place. I feel glad.

? On the eve of school, I invited my lover to go with me to see the true face of Lushan Mountain.

? When I first arrived in Bailong, I was shocked by its poverty and backwardness: the roads in the village are gray roads in sunny days and cement roads in rainy days, and the roadside is full of garbage, firewood and sand. The streams near the village are small and dirty, full of weeds and garbage, and there is an unpleasant smell when the weather is hot. The houses in the village are in the period of replacement between the old and the new, leaving behind magnificent small foreign buildings and ruins, giving people an impression. Just like the people in the village, some people are as smart as the city people, and some people are as crazy as iodine and zinc deficiency. The clothes are so dirty that people can't see the original color. They laugh at everyone, which makes people feel scared and don't know what they want to do.

When I entered the school, I was greeted by no one except an old teaching building, two tall ginkgo trees and a row of dilapidated tile houses with civil structures in front. A central avenue leading to the teaching building has been paved with cement, and there are deep or shallow footprints in other places. I went to the toilet because I was in a hurry, but the road leading to the toilet was muddy. Fortunately, someone padded a few bricks and managed to get in. I think, what should I do if I want to go to the toilet at night? The situation in the toilet is even worse, and there is no place to waste it. [To be continued]
