The other side of the mountain is called Taihe.
A few years ago, mountaineering was a low-carbon, environmentally friendly and fashionable outdoor activity. Every weekend, climbers can be seen everywhere in the mountains of Qingdao. Create and I also follow the crowd and climb mountains with a large group of people almost every weekend. The most frequently climbed mountains are Taihe, Shimen and Hualou in Xiazhuang, occasionally challenging the highest peak of Laoshan Mountain-Jufeng. We also crossed the cave along the Taihe Grand Canyon and went to Sanqing Cave near Zhuzi Temple. The scariest time was from Shimen to Hualou Mountain. This is a dangerous trip. We both lost our way in the mountains, and it was still raining lightly. The mountains are all white and the recognition is very low. The mountain road is slippery and difficult to walk. During this period, we both fell several times and were a little scared, but we didn't say anything. So I asked everyone, inquired all the way, and after several waves of advice from Lu Yu donkey friends, I arrived at Lanjiazhuang at the foot of Hualou Mountain. At this time, it was getting dark. On the way back, Create gave me a good scolding. I think of my waywardness to "if you don't die, you won't die", so I can only swallow it. Because I initiated the activity, the team members are only the two of us. Fortunately, there was a near miss in the end. From then on, the two of us said goodbye to Ye Shan completely. He found a weekend and went to the post office to get a Zhang Dengshan Family Year Card. There are always many people in scenic spots, and the roads are easy to walk, which is much safer than the wild roads, but it is also less fun.
I felt at ease for a long time and was ready to move again, so he said, "I don't know what it's like to lie across the Langya Mountain." I heard that someone crossed the mountain and reached the opposite side. Do you want to know? " He said, "curiosity kills the cat, the scar forgot to hurt. Have you forgotten that we almost didn't come out at the Hualou? " I said, "Let's invite more people to start early this time. If not, we will go back the same way. " I can't control my head, and besides, I succeeded in arousing his curiosity. He finally agreed to make an exception and take another risk with me.
Early in the morning, I packed my backpack and brought enough water, bread and chocolate. Create is in charge of the backpack, and I am in charge of the trekking pole. I came to the foot of Wolangya Mountain, gathered with other friends and headed for my destination. We walked along a steep and narrow stone step until we came to a hillside, and a winding mountain road appeared in front of us. I remember Mr. Lu Xun said, "There is no road in the world, and more people will become a road." The mountain road in front of us was trodden by climbers with their own footprints. Wolangya Mountain is not high above sea level, with a gentle slope, and some places are leveled. There was only a big steep slope and a stream covered with tall grass, and we dragged each other through smoothly. After more than an hour, we finally came to the other side of the mountain-Taihe Peak.
Unexpectedly, when we reached the top of the mountain, the hill under our feet was Taihe Peak. Taihe Peak is actually a broad and flat mountain peak, surrounded by rolling hills and lush trees. When we boarded here, we couldn't help shouting a few times, refreshed and exhausted; Perhaps this is the beauty of Shoushan. There is a gazebo and four red pillars on Taihe Peak. The pavilion is carved with beams and painted with buildings, and the painter is exquisite. There is a stone bench under the pavilion for visitors to rest. When the weather is clear, standing on Taihe Peak and looking west, the sparkling waves in Jiaozhou Bay and the sea-crossing bridge standing in Ling Bo are beautiful.
After a short rest in the pavilion, the group entered a low pine forest on the west slope of Taihe Peak. The afternoon sunshine left mottled light and shadow in the forest. Walking in it, you can only hear your own breathing and occasional birdsong, which is very quiet. Being in such a natural oxygen bar nourishes and heals our body and mind. At this time, Create took a deep breath and said to himself, "The concentration of negative oxygen ions is at least 10000 (per cubic centimeter)". Along the way, well-known and unknown wildflowers can be seen everywhere in the grass layer. "Moss flowers are as small as rice, but they also bloom like peonies." Even if no one applauds, you should show your grace. Suddenly, several blooming Laoshan lilies were found among the weeds. This kind of lily is unique to Qingdao and usually grows in shady or semi-shady Woods. It is a rare species listed in the second batch of rare and endangered plants in China. It is also a gratifying blessing to meet the precious lily fairy in Taihe Mountain.
At the end of the small pine forest, there is a pictographic stone "the sun and the moon shine together". The round stone is the sun stone and the curved stone is the moon stone. The sun and the moon will always be together and never separate. Further on, a big stone blocked the way. This huge stone is like an entrenched eagle, with its beak stretched forward and its sharp eyes fixed on the passers-by, which is quite imposing. This is the legendary Eagle Mouth Stone.
Bypass the olecranon stone, pass through the small pine forest, and descend to a valley with both hands and feet, and you will reach the Taihe Grand Canyon. There are cliffs on both sides of the canyon, and the top of the cliff is beautiful. The famous Qilang Drum is named after the seven Yang brothers. Go further, Lang will lie down, just like a big man lying on the hillside in the sun. In this way, Taihe Grand Canyon is a man's world. These trees stand high at the bottom of the canyon. The tree species in the canyon, mainly Sophora japonica, may be due to the shelter from the wind and the sun in the canyon, which is similar to a natural greenhouse and plants have phototaxis. The locust trees here grow tall and stout, bloom and wither every year, and the wild land is long, with a complete natural form. At the end of the locust tree forest, there is a drip hole, about four or five meters high. In the drip cave, water drips from the top of the cave all the year round, and the sound of dripping sounds particularly crisp and pleasant in the cave. There is a stone well outside the drip hole, and there is water all the year round. Some devout villagers put a Guanyin statue with a plate and a futon in the cave, where devout tourists used to bow down and pray.
Out of the Grand Canyon, it is a rolling mountain road, where the plants are relatively low and within reach. On both sides of the mountain road, there is another kind of Sophora japonica called Sophora japonica. Now is the season when Sophora japonica blooms. The green leaves are dotted with fluffy yellow-green flowers, which are playful and lovely. Sophora japonica is a very popular tree. It grows fast and has beautiful texture. In the old society, most of the wooden boxes accompanied by women when they got married were made of Sophora japonica.
Walking on the mountain road, near the foot of the mountain, I met another flowering plant-lilacs, which opened quietly on the branches, making people feel pity. However, this kind of shrubby police has left a shadow in many people's childhood. Because it used to make most of the pointers in teachers' hands, it was "steady, accurate and ruthless" to hit the palms. If you have tasted that smell, you will never forget it.
Down the mountain, our exploration stopped at the pig head stone in Luxi. Taihe Village was originally called Pig Head Shi Cun, and the name of the village came from this stone like a pig head. Later, a squire in the village opened a Yongtai automobile maintenance factory in Qingdao, and after making money, he built roads and bridges for the benefit of one party. The villagers were very grateful to him, and the name of the village was changed to Taihe village.
Taihe, quiet and peaceful, a fascinating place.
