Doesn't the car air conditioner cool? These experiences tell you ~

The weather is getting hotter, and many group members begin to pay attention to the daily use of car air conditioners.

In winter, the car is heated by warm air, as long as the water temperature is used for heating, so the car air conditioner is basically used in summer. After such a long dormant period, I won't pay special attention when I don't use it, and I will be anxious if there are problems during use.

Some car owners will complain: "My air conditioner has been on for a long time, and the wind speed has been adjusted to the maximum. Why is it still so hot in the car? " In case your future wife and mother-in-law sit in the back row, I thought you were stingy, and you didn't even turn on the air conditioner on a hot day, so Dou E had to plead for you.

In fact, in this case, you should think that there is something wrong with the air conditioner, not with your operation. When you encounter that the air conditioner is not cooling, you can try to find the cause of the failure from the following places.

Lack of refrigerant

This is normal. Yes, the air conditioner will not be completely uncooled, but the effect is not good, but this situation should be less. Because the refrigerant is not a consumable, as long as there is no serious rear-end collision of the vehicle or the air conditioning pipe and other accessories that affect the sealing performance are removed, the refrigerant will generally not be consumed by itself.

Air conditioning filter element

Because the filter element is dirty after being used for a long time, the dust on it will hinder the blowing of air conditioning wind, and naturally it will feel that the wind is much smaller and the blowing is unhappy.

Usually, the air conditioning filter element will be referred to as the air filter for short. If it is not replaced for a long time, it will not only reduce the air volume, but also filter the dirty things in the air for a long time. It is easy to mold and breed various viruses and bacteria, and the air inside the car will become unhealthy, which will also cause some respiratory diseases for a long time.

The condenser is too dirty

If you also changed the air filter, but you still feel that the air conditioner is not working, it may be caused by the dirty condenser.

We can use the elimination method first, and the condenser piece is on the inner side of the front air intake grille. If your car is not a new car, it has been driving for a long time, and the number of car washes is not very frequent, you can first see if there is a lot of dust on the condenser. When washing the car, you can tell the other party to wash it with water. But remember not to use high-pressure water gun, because excessive water pressure may hurt condenser fins.

If possible, you can have a special cleaning of the condenser. Generally, high-pressure air is blown out first, and then washed with clear water.

air-conditioning compressor

As I said before, the cooling effect is poor, so it can be cooled at this time, but if the air conditioner is turned on but it doesn't feel the slightest coolness, then it means that the air conditioner has stopped cooling. Usually, it may be a problem with the air conditioner compressor, but it does not mean that the compressor must be broken, because sometimes the compressor may not work due to poor contact or aging contact wires.

We can check ourselves first, open the front box cover, and find the high-pressure pipe marked with H and the low-pressure pipe marked with L. If the compressor works normally, the higher the speed, the colder the low-pressure pipe. If you touch it, there is no obvious temperature change, indicating that the compressor may not work. You can go to the repair shop and ask the master to check whether the fuse or relay is aging or has poor contact, and it will be fine after replacement. 、
