DV is a precision electronic product, and its working circuit can only work at room temperature. Therefore, when shooting outdoors in winter, we must pay attention to keeping DV warm and dry. If necessary, you can put on a small coat for DV, especially in the environment below zero degrees Celsius.

However, we should also pay attention to it, although it is cold-proof, but don't overdo it-some friends wear thick clothes with DV to keep out the cold, and the machine will overheat after a long time. The working condition of the hard disk has a lot to do with its service life and temperature. The temperature of the hard disk is 20~25℃. Too high or too low temperature will change the clock frequency of the crystal oscillator, and more seriously, it will lead to the failure of the circuit components in the hard disk, and the storage medium will also be affected by the thermal expansion effect.

Pay attention to the second key in winter: moistureproof.

Maybe you will say, "It's very dry in winter, so don't worry about moisture eroding DV?" In fact, it still needs attention. First of all, it often rains in winter in Guangdong, which is not as dry as you think. Secondly, the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is very large in winter. If DV with high temperature is suddenly brought from indoor to outdoor, or DV is suddenly brought from cold outdoor to warm indoor, water vapor may condense inside DV. The consequences can be imagined.

The solution is also very simple: generally speaking, the simplest way is to keep DV in a camera bag. If the thickness and tightness of the bag are not good, you can put DV in a plastic bag, not too thick, and gently pump the air out of the plastic bag. The purpose of this is to isolate the moisture in the air and keep the storage environment of the machine dry.

Pay attention to the third key in winter: protect the hard disk.

In DV, besides preventing the hard disk from being damaged at low temperature, shockproof is also a very important part. The disadvantage of hard disk is that it is afraid of sudden and severe vibration, especially when it is turned on. Hard disk is a very sophisticated storage device. When reading and writing, the floating height of the magnetic head on the disk surface is only a few microns. Never shake DV violently, lest the head collide with the disc and scratch the magnetic layer on the surface of the disc.

Although many DV hard disk manufacturers are now promoting their products to have so-called "anti-collision ability" or "anti-collision system", they all refer to the anti-collision ability of hard disks when they are not in use, not when they are turned on, so everyone must "handle with care" when using them, and don't think that the shock absorption design will be all right.

Pay attention to the fourth key in winter: protect the lens.

The optical lens of DV is expensive and must be equipped with UV lens. A lens cover is not enough. Even the automatic lens cover can't really avoid rain and snow. UV mirror is very convenient to use, even if it is dirty, it is also very convenient to wipe, and it can be replaced if it is seriously damaged, and the price is much cheaper than the lens.

In addition, if there is no need to use ultraviolet rays, in fact, sometimes the original factory also provides protective glasses, which are no different from ultraviolet glasses except that they have no anti-ultraviolet function; In addition, in places with strong sunshine, you can also consider using CPL polarizers, and the effect is different.

Pay attention to the fifth key in winter: protect the battery.

Lithium battery has a big disadvantage that it is not suitable for long-term work and storage at extremely low temperature. If the ionic activity in the lithium battery decreases in this case, the power supply is much less than that at room temperature. When the battery is not in use, it should be removed from the machine, put in the pocket to keep the temperature, and pay attention to regular charging, which is conducive to maintaining the working life of the lithium battery and allowing DV to work at any time.
