When is Emei Mountain off-season?

Spring and autumn are the best tourist seasons in Emei Mountain, with mild climate and charming scenery. In April, the mountains are full of flowers, and the sea of clouds on the top of the mountain is the most beautiful. The best viewing time of Mount Emei:

2) Travel precautions

1) Cold protection: The highest elevation of Mount Emei is 3099 meters, and the relative height is over 2500 meters (the elevation of Mount Emei at the foot of the mountain is only 420 meters). The vertical difference is great, and the temperature is often about 10℃ lower than that at the foot of the mountain. Therefore, climbers need to prepare for the cold in advance (Jinding also has cotton-padded clothes for rent).

2) Rain protection: Mount Emei has low clouds and heavy fog. It rains in Mao Mao all day, so climbers should prepare corresponding rain gear (preferably plastic film raincoat).

3) Non-slip: Some sections of Mount Emei are very smooth and dangerous, so tourists should pay special attention to safety, and it is not advisable to wear bare and hard-soled shoes.

4) When you take a one-day tour of Mount Emei, be sure to ask about the tourist route, because there is a line and a line in the local area. Line A only plays Jinding, and Line B plays Wannian Temple, Bailong Cave, Yin Qing Pavilion, Yixiantian and Monkey Play Area in Zhongshan District. It takes about two to three days to visit Mount Emei comprehensively.

5) There are unlicensed tour guides and licensed tour guides in the local area, and the unlicensed tour guides will be caught by inspectors, and then a licensed tour guide will be sent to delay the tour time.

6) It takes about two and a half hours to go up the mountain by car, and the destination is "Dong Leiping" instead of "Jinding". Walk from Dongleiping to Jinding 15 Li. Special attention: don't rent a coat in Dong Leiping, it will increase your burden of climbing.

7) The accommodation in Jinding is not very expensive either, which is generally more than 20 RMB. You can stay in Woyun 'an or an ordinary hotel, such as An Shu. It is recommended to stay in 703 TV station guest house and weather station guest house. The conditions of Jinding Hotel are better, but more expensive.

8) Fresh tea can be bought in spring and summer, and there are some tea shops on both sides of the mountain road and downtown Emei. In order to prevent the mistake of buying old tea a few years ago, you should brew it before buying it.

9) There are Emei Mountain snacks along the way in Zhongshan District. Stalagmites are delicious. I suggest you try them.
