What is the wind speed?

Wind speed is usually expressed by wind speed, which refers to the distance that the wind moves every second, usually expressed by meters per second (m/s) or kilometers per hour (km/h). The size of the wind speed is related to the strength of the wind, which is generally divided into the following grades:

Grade 0: no wind, with wind speed less than 0.2m/s;

1 grade: a breeze with a wind speed of 0.3- 1.5m/s;

Grade 2: light wind, wind speed1.6-3.3m/s;

Grade 3: light wind with a wind speed of 3.4-5.4m/s;

Level 4: Breeze with a wind speed of 5.5-7.9m/s;

Level 5: Breeze with wind speed of 8.0-10.7m/s;

Grade 6: strong wind with the wind speed between10.8-13.8m/s;

Grade 7: strong wind, with the wind speed between13.9-17.1m/s;

Grade 8: strong wind, wind speed17.2-20.7m/s;

Grade 9: strong wind with a wind speed of 20.8-24.4m/s;

10: strong wind with a wind speed of 24.5-28.4m/s;

1 1 level: storm with wind speed of 28.5-32.6m/s;

12: Typhoon with wind speed greater than 32.7m/s.

The magnitude of wind speed has a great influence on people's life and work, so the measurement and prediction of wind speed are very important in weather forecast, aviation, ocean and other fields.
