How to be a macro photographer?

If you are a novice photographer and have just got your first camera, you may be trying to define your position in a new creative way, choose a photography style and mention macro photography, so why take macro photography? First, it is convenient to find the shooting position.

Unlike many types of photography, macro photography can be done anywhere. For example, in a room, you can find several locations, anywhere in the whole house. Flowers, trees, shrubs and insects: they are ideal objects for macro photographers, and they can easily complete shooting in gardens, parks or flower beds around our daily life.

Even if you can't find a suitable location to take pictures, you can go to the nearest scene to find a shooting theme.

Second, macro shooting requires less shooting plans.

You can find the object of interest and start shooting. In this type, it is easy to find not only the shooting location, but also the object. Macro photography will not be affected by weather and light, and it can be shot at any time, achieving amazing results. Of course, compared with other subjects, macro photography is less prepared.

Third, macro photography does not need to spend too much energy.

Some types of photography may be physically demanding. For example, when shooting birds, spend a long time hiding in the operation room waiting for the perfect angle.

Compared with macro shooting, it's not that difficult.

After finding the object to shoot, you can shoot freely from different angles without too much effort. Standing, sitting, kneeling, lying down-these are the ways macro photographers complete shooting.

Fourth, the photography time is relatively short.

If you are as busy as most of us, you may encounter shooting time problems. If you don't have enough time to finish shooting, and macro photography can be devoted to your hobbies within half an hour, then you can take great photos during this time, and sometimes you can finish shooting in less time.

Macro shooting, no need to travel long distances or wait for sunset. But remember, if you decide to shoot in the alley with your friends.

Fifth, macro photography has low environmental requirements.

Many types of photography, especially nature photography, need special lighting, which happens at sunset or dawn, the so-called prime time. But for some of us, this is not the ideal shooting time. Now you can go to work or stay with your family. So it is difficult to take portraits or landscapes, but macro photography can be done even in the worst light at noon.

It will be better if the weather turns cloudy. Diffuse light is an ideal choice for work. However, even if you don't have this condition and really want to shoot, you can use a piece of paper to make a diffuser, or find the right light in the shade of the park.

Six, help to express the natural environment
