What fishing tackle do anglers need to prepare for fishing in streams in autumn?

There are many mountains and rivers in our country. In autumn harvest season, if it coincides with rainy days, the water level of the stream will rise, or the seeds and insects of plants on both sides will be washed into the stream. Then you can get ready to catch a stream at this time.

Many fishermen may think that the fish in the stream are small and not enough to catch fish. Actually, it's not. In many big streams where small mountains and streams meet, fish can grow to more than 2 kg, especially in some deep pools, because the water is deep, or at the water gathering place in the upper reaches, or at the confluence of underground rivers, there is enough dissolved oxygen and food, and the fish inside are not small.

Fishing in the stream is relatively light. If you like the feel of fish, fishing friends can play stream fishing with soft-tuned fishing rods and small hooks, so that you can experience the feel of big fish brought by small fish.

First, the timing of fishing.

1. Fishing in streams needs to choose a good fishing opportunity, because many streams without good sources are basically dry in winter, so when the water level is about to dry up, the fish will move to other places, and the fish resources in the water are very small. When rainy days come in autumn, food such as plant seeds and insects on both sides of the river will rush into the stream with the rain, and fish will be more active at this time. This is the best time to play river fishing.

After the autumn rain, the weather is cool. This time is not suitable for fishing. Fishermen want to catch fish well. They should go fishing on a sunny afternoon after the rain, or on a rainy day the next day. At this time, the brook fish are used to the change of temperature, and under the stimulation of new water and food, the desire to open their mouths will be high. As long as fishermen are prepared, it is easy to harvest.

3. The source of many streams is reservoirs or lakes, or rivers where many streams converge. This stream will have water all year round, but the water flow is different in different seasons. It's easy to hide big fish in a hole in a stream. As long as the fishing time is well chosen, basically there will be good harvest.

4. If the source is a large stream where many streams converge, it is easy to cut off the flow or reduce the water potential when there is little rain in autumn. At this time, you can find deep pools for fishing. Some deep pools meet underground rivers, and the oxygen content is sufficient. Most of the fish are raw. As long as the bait is well matched, the harvest will be great.

Second, the site selection skills of stream fishing.

The water conditions in different parts of the stream are different, some are wide and flat, some are narrow and swift, and so on. So be careful when choosing a fishing position.

1. When you get to the fishing ground, you can find a water area with wide water surface and slow water flow, find a deep pit or a stone obstacle on the shore for nest fishing, or fish in a place with narrow water surface and slow water flow. Fish will be relatively concentrated, but the water level is deep, so you must pay attention to safety when fishing. If there is a waterfall on it, it is also an ideal fishing spot. Fishing in water is easy to drift, and the choice of floating is reasonable.

There are few fish where the stream is wide and the water is fast, but many fish will gather in the pit where the water falls. Generally speaking, the water on the bank of a stream is slow. If there are aquatic plants growing on the shore, or trees hanging into the water on the shore, it will attract many fish to play.

3. At the intersection of the lower reaches of rivers and lakes, it will be a migration area for fish to spawn, breed and swim for food. Fish will move here all year round and have a good harvest. In addition, there will be an artificial interception dam at the source of the stream, which can be used for secondary fishing. The slow-flow area formed by underwater rocks to resist water flow is a good fishing spot.

Third, the choice of bait

1, streams and other natural waters, there are few artificially raised fish, most of which grow naturally and have many kinds. When fishing with a very strong mouth, you need to pay attention to the model matching of the fishing line and the hook. Wild fish are strong and have a strong ability to struggle after being hooked, so we must ensure the strength of the line group.

2. Generally, the species of fish that move in the stream are white stripes, grouper, crucian carp, carp, brother Xi, horse mouth fish, catfish and so on. Their eating habits are in a mess. After all, fish will gobble up food when they see it, but generally speaking, they are more interested in meat bait, so when fishing, they can use meat bait such as earthworm and red worm as hooks or commercial bait with fishy smell.

It should be noted that the bait used for fishing is different in different seasons. In autumn, the grain in the farmland on both sides of the bank falls into the water, which will attract a large number of fish. At this time, it will be better to fish with the grain growing on the shore, and the small insects growing nearby can also be used for fishing.

Creek grouper, also known as light lipped fish, has the same name as sea grouper, but they are different in species. In this season, with the fall of autumn rain, the seeds and insects of plants are washed into the water, which is a good stage for the fish in the stream to grow and feed. At this time, we can catch groupers between mountains and rivers with fishing rods and experience the fun of leisure.

May and June in early summer, late autumn and early winter are the best choice for fishing cichlasoma managuense. Therefore, now is the best time to catch groupers. Now as long as you find the right fishing spot, you can have a good fishing. So how to choose a fishing spot?

(1) Select the flow rate of running water.

Cichlasoma managuense has a very high demand for oxygen, so it generally does not live in stagnant water, but swims in a place with moderate water flow. The water flow will not be too fast or too slow, and it can be seen visually that the water flow is very slow.

(2) Selection of fishing spots in streams

It is the best way to capture cichlasoma managuense in an environment where streams have living water nests formed by almost drops, steep slopes, rocks or turbulence, and the depth and width are different.

(3) Stone crevice water inlet

The entrance of streams and pools is best where there is a backflow area, slow flowing water and stones. Because groupers especially like the feeling of hiding in cracks.

(4) Fish in troubled waters

In running water, there are no fish when the water is clear. Unlike many fish, in the clear shallow water, you won't see groups of groupers, because they prefer to hide in muddy water. So it's best to find muddy fishing spots.

The best fishing time is from early morning to noon, when the water slowly flows down the deep water, and the fish situation is ideal. When the water temperature rises in the afternoon, the grouper will flow into the deep water instead, but it is not easy to catch.

If you want to catch cichlasoma managuense, you can choose 2.7m and 4.5m fishing rods and use them in different environments. Unless you inquire about the market early in the morning, you can choose a fishing rod to fish according to the water depth. The rod body should be made of carbon rods with light and hard tone, the main line should be 1.0, the secondary line should be No.6, and the fish hook should be No.2 sleeve hook or No.3 ~ 4 flow hook, and a single hook is enough.

It is very effective to fish cichlasoma managuense with bran products from Taiwan fishing. Fishermen who don't want to make their own bait can fish in thousands of streams by buying a package of cheap bait with good cost performance. It is best to prepare some fishy commercial bait. Although it is not attractive to groupers, it can catch other fish.

Another way is to use cereal as bait, which is also very attractive to groupers. Go to the market to buy about 2-4 kg of cereal (depending on the number of people), then steam it, add peanut powder at the ratio of 1 kg to 1 kg of peanut powder, then add half a handful of potato powder (based on 1 kg), and then mix it with the fragrance of egg milk and vanilla, so as to smell the faint fragrance of egg milk, steam it again, and put it away. When you want to catch grouper formally, you can rub the bait into the size of mung bean, and then hook it so that the tip of the hook is slightly exposed.

After determining the fishing spot, you can sprinkle some grain bait in the relatively upstream waters, so that the water can bring the grain to your fishing spot and attract groupers. Of course, we still have to take out some cereal and build a nest at the fishing point.

Basic surface fishing method: after throwing the hook, put away the excess line that falls on the water surface to reduce the lag line on the water surface and prevent the slow response after lifting the pole. When you feel the fish hooked, you should skillfully lift the fishing rod slightly in the direction of the stream and pierce the fish mouth. In the process of waiting for fish information, if you find that biting too much lead leads to hanging the bottom and pulling the buoy, you should gently shake the fishing rod in the opposite direction. Doing so can also induce the grouper to escape from the gap and get rid of the hook. If the hooks and baits descending in the opposite direction are blocked by rocks at the bottom of the stream and the buoy sinks, you can gently close the line at this time, and don't rush to close the rod back. Because this is the favorite place for groupers to hide in crevices.

Fishing at the bottom of the pool: If you have tried to fish cichlasoma managuense at the bottom of the pool and want to fish in deep water, you should use a long pole, install a floating lead pendant, separate the hook from the pendant, and use a barbed hook. This hook has a barb. You don't have to make a fishing nest at the bottom of the pool. When you hook, you should go deep and look for cracks in the stones where groupers often lurk.

Muddy water fishing: the pole is long and heavy, and you can use grain as bait, without floating or baiting, and hook it at the bottom of a slow-flowing stream. After selecting and throwing the hook, fix the fishing rod, keep the tip of the fishing rod about 50 cm above the water surface, and judge whether there is a fish biting the hook through the fishing line and the tip of the fishing rod. If the fishing line suddenly tightens, loosens or shakes, lift the rod immediately. This operation method can carry out multiple shots at the same time, and then grab one shot in hand to fully enjoy the high-efficiency fishing fun.
