The starting and ending points of the Hualang Line

The starting point of the Hualang Line is located in Jikou Village, Qingliangfeng Town, and the end point is located in Yutiao Village, Longgang Town. The total length is about 60 kilometers. Due to the high mountains along the way and the altitude of 1,400 meters, it is known as the "Heavenly Road in Western Zhejiang".

The starting point of the wave line is Jiaokou, Qingliangfeng Town, and connects with National Highway 330 at Huaguangtan Village. The valleys along the route are green and the mountains and rivers are secluded. It is the highway with the highest altitude in western Zhejiang. It has also been praised by countless travelers and self-driving travelers as Tanggula in western Zhejiang and the most beautiful "Sky Road in western Zhejiang". However, due to the impact of Typhoon Lekima last year, the Longgang Town Xi section of the Hualang Line was severely damaged. After a year of renovation and construction, the Hualang Line is about to be reborn.

The main line of the Hualang Line reconstruction project is 60 kilometers long, and the branch line is 6 kilometers long. The construction has been carried out in sections since last year’s typhoon. The emergency rescue advance section project has entered the final stage and is expected to be completed in early October. Others Construction of retaining walls and bridge substructure is ongoing on the road section. So far, the Hualang Line has completed 43% of the total renovation and upgrading projects.

There are densely populated villages along the Hualang Line. This road is also the only main channel for villagers to travel. There is more than 10 kilometers of no-man’s land in Taizijian, and the altitude is more than 1,400 meters. The project construction team has to overcome a problem. Due to the changeable weather throughout the year, in order to complete the construction as soon as possible, the work was carried out in stages and at staggered times.

After nearly a year of construction, the Hualang Line is gradually transforming from a winding and narrow village road into a flat and wide avenue. After the renovation and upgrading project is completed, the road surface will be less than 5 meters wide from the original meters widened to 6.5 meters.
