If you are taking a shuttle bus, then take a high-speed bus from Ningbo New Railway Station to Xianju 8 times a day. It takes 3 hours to arrive, and then transfer to the local area. Get off the minibus at Tianshi Town, which takes about 40 minutes. Then hire a minivan from the town to the starting point of the hike: Qiankeng Village, which takes about half an hour.

If you are driving by car, take the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway. After 100KM, take the Linhai North Exit and get off the expressway. Then follow Provincial Highway 34 (after 15KM) to Linhai City. You will see a roundabout with a big eagle. Go right towards Xianju and follow the road signs for about 40km to Xianju. After passing the county seat, go west in the direction of Jinhua. After about 20km, you will cross a tolled Yongan River Bridge. After crossing the bridge, go a few kilometers and you will see a small town with fields. In the town, turn left into the town and then turn right at the end. There is only one cement road that leads directly to the starting point of the hike. If you don’t understand, you can ask passers-by. After about 15km, you will arrive at the front pit. The last few kilometers of road conditions are not good recently because it is a dirt road. The Jinwen Expressway is being built around Qiankeng Village, but cars can pass there.

Qiankeng Village is the end of the road. After passing the village, there is a road that leads directly to Gongmen. Although there are small forks in the road, it is easy to recognize. As long as you follow the main path paved with stones, you will not go wrong. Here By the way, it is usually noon to arrive at Qiankeng. You can have something to eat at a villager’s house before hiking. The local villagers are very enthusiastic. Start hiking from Qiankeng to Gongmen on a mountain road of about 8km, which takes 2 hours. However, the first half of the hike rises a lot and can be slippery on rainy days. About a third of the way there is a small village where you can rest.

When you see a large pond, you are almost to Gongmen. After crossing the small bridge along the pond and walking a few dozen meters, you can see the farmhouse No. 1 in Gongmen Village. Gongmen is here. There are about 30 households in the village, which is relatively warm and provides accommodation and food. There is no grocery store, there are local chickens, there is running water on the mountain (water comes from the top of the mountain) and there is electricity.

We did not go up Gongmenbei because of bad weather, but we learned from the villagers that it takes about 30 minutes from the village to the summit, but the road is very steep. It is said that many sections of the road are dug manually. The peak is about 1,200 meters above sea level.

On the first day, we will hike on the way or in the town at noon. We will go to the farmhouse in the evening and the next morning, and then rush to the bottom of the mountain at noon. We can bring a little more than one meal at most.
