Do rain trees really exist?

As we all know, rainfall is a natural phenomenon. Without rain clouds, it won't rain. Even with artificial rainfall, rain clouds are needed, which is also an imitation of nature.

However, in the summer of 1985, many people found a strange rainfall phenomenon: a century-old Dalbergia sinensis tree at the entrance of Yunfeng Village Primary School in Yunhe County, Zhejiang Province actually began to rain automatically under the scorching sun. This summer, the weather in Yunhe area is dry and there is little rain. But from the beginning of July, the trees began to rain automatically. At noon, raindrops the size of mung beans will fall on the trees, and it only takes 3 to 5 minutes to get people wet.

Stranger still, the clearer the weather, the stronger the sunshine and the heavier the rain. If it becomes cloudy and cold, it won't rain immediately. Where did the rain come from? It is observed that it comes from the branches and green leaves of this tree.
