The fifth stop of northwest Tibet: Golmud? Tuotuo River? Tanggula Mountain? damxung county

Spend the night in Tuotuo River.

June 1, leave Golmud in the morning and take G 109 to Tibet. The road is very bad, and the speed can only run about 60. At about 10 in the morning, after 8 o'clock in the evening, I walked for more than 9 hours and 400 kilometers to reach Tuotuo River.

Originally, I planned to live and rest in Tanggula Mountain City, but Tanggula Mountain City is more than 5,200 meters above sea level. I was afraid that the altitude was too high and the rebellion was too serious, so I chose Tuotuo River at an altitude of 4,600.

Everyone has altitude sickness!

From Golmud to Kunlun Mountain Pass, the road conditions are not bad. I stopped at Kunlun Mountain Pass to take photos, but I didn't feel anything at an altitude of more than 4,700 meters.

However, the road from Kunlun Mountain Pass to Tuotuo River is fatal ~

To reach the Tuotuo River, you must cross five beams. As the saying goes, after crossing five beams, I cried for my mother. Motion sickness increases altitude. Everyone has dizziness, headache and vomiting to varying degrees.

This is called altitude sickness! That's it. It's like a spell on your head, nausea in your stomach, and panting when you move.

Stay at Sanjiangyuan Hotel on Tuotuo River in the evening. Fortunately, the hotel has a greenhouse, which can effectively alleviate the problem of hypoxia. It is thoughtful of them to design this greenhouse.

Dinner was eaten in the greenhouse, and even if it was not eaten, the atmosphere was beautiful!

Looking at the raiders, there are many ways to alleviate the high rebellion. We ate Rhodiola capsules in advance and drank glucose after getting off the bus. Although I brought an oxygen bottle, we can't say we must, and don't take oxygen easily.

After a short rest, everyone's condition has improved. I'm in a bad state. I can't eat anything. I feel sick after drinking some water. I only ate some potato chips, so I won't be too hungry at night.

Wash it in the hotel bathroom. Water is saline-alkali water, which has a strange smell and makes me want to vomit when brushing my teeth.

Never drink this water. Besides, there is a thermos in the room. You can drink the water in it or ask for it from the hotel.

Another manifestation of high reaction is insomnia. I can't sleep well at night and have been in a daze. The three people in our room spent the night almost half asleep.

Pain, but be patient. How can I see a rainbow without experiencing wind and rain?

Hoh Xil Nature Reserve

Pass the Kunlun Mountain Pass and enter the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve. The reserve is very large, covering an area of 45,000 square kilometers. We ran all day.

Hoh Xil is called "no man's land in Hoh Xil" because of its harsh natural environment and lack of fresh water resources.

This section of Qinghai-Tibet Highway is commonly known as "washboard road", "wave road" and "crater road". It's hard to walk, and wobbling leads to serious motion sickness! We also witnessed some cars' oil pipes being scraped and stopped by the roadside to repair the oil pipes.

Vehicles and personnel are prohibited from entering the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve, but the Qinghai-Tibet Highway just passes through the east of Hoh Xil. In the car, we were lucky enough to see many Tibetan antelopes, Tibetan wild donkeys and Tibetan yaks.

These animals are not afraid of people and cars. Some just graze on the side of the road and don't respond when they see the car coming.

1At the end of June, we almost finished the core area of the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve.

On June 2, we started from Tuotuo River and continued south along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway. The road is slightly better, and the symptoms of dizziness and headache are better.

Topography is still plateau permafrost and alpine grassland. This kind of terrain makes the weather change quickly.

One day, we experienced cloudy days, hail, rain and snow, sunny days, and were fortunate to see the rainbow.

The most beautiful scenery is on the road.

Although the high opposition and bumps have discounted the interest in enjoying the scenery, the scenery is still beautiful and makes people want to cry! Moved to crawl!

Snow-capped mountains, undulating grasslands, light green ground, leaping antelopes from time to time, and changing clouds in the sky.

This kind of large-scale scenery can't be seen in the cities in the mainland, and it can't be seen in the mountains and rivers in the suburbs of the city. It's shocking, vast and unforgettable!

There is a saying to describe the feeling of entering Tibet: the body goes to hell, the eyes go to heaven, and the soul goes back to hometown!

Along the way, I saw enough snow-capped mountains, grasslands, blue sky and white clouds. I don't know where my soul is, but my eyes are really in heaven.

The Qinghai-Tibet Highway and the Qinghai-Tibet Railway extend side by side, and the green train passes through the plateau, which is also a landscape. It is said that this train from Shanghai to Lhasa runs smoothly and may have fewer symptoms of hyperreflexia.

Along the way, I also saw many cyclists, riding bicycles with luggage and helmets, walking on the Qinghai-Tibet Highway with an average elevation of 4,700 meters. I saw a cyclist with a face as black as carbon. He smiled at us when we got off to take pictures.

Cyclists have high demands on physical fitness and strong perseverance. They work much harder than drivers. I admire them very much!

One of my husband's dreams is to ride the Sichuan-Tibet line. If one day, he really rides on the road like this, I can't imagine what I would say. Admire, feel distressed, worry, congratulations, you should have everything!
