Where is the Sanya satellite launch site?

Sanya satellite launch site is located in the southwest of Tongguling.

There are five satellite launch bases in China, namely Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu, xichang satellite launch center in Sichuan, Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi, Wenchang Satellite Launch Center in Hainan and Oriental Space Port in China, which are used for launching satellites at sea.

The site selection conditions are low latitude, high line speed, high initial velocity of spacecraft, fuel saving, low launch cost, dry climate, less precipitation, sunny weather, high air visibility, open and flat terrain, relatively high surrounding area, convenient transportation, convenient transportation of instruments and equipment, sparsely populated, and ensuring safety; Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is one of the four major satellite launch bases in China.
