What are the tourist attractions in Hainan? What are the fun things to do in Hainan?
If you have been and plan to go to Hainan, go on a sunny day. That is the most beautiful time in Hainan. The most beautiful time of the day may be the sunrise and sunset. At that time, Hainan has a A charm that wants to stay forever.
Preparation:
First of all, the air tickets are booked one month in advance, which is very cheap. We chose to fly from Chengdu to Mianyang, and then from Mianyang to Haikou. The return trip is also from Sanya to Mianyang, and the total round trip cost is 796RMB.
Then, we booked a hotel. We were a group of four, so we booked a double room. It was very cheap to share the room between us. The total cost of the four-day stay was 200.1RMB
Finally, before departure, I bought the high-speed train ticket from Chengdu to Mianyang. I can’t remember this clearly, but it seemed to cost more than 30 yuan each. People, after all, are not expensive. Day1
From Chengdu - Mianyang - Haikou
We booked a flight at around 2:30 in the afternoon, so we went to Mianyang from Chengdu early in the morning. We took the bus directly after arriving in Mianyang We went to the airport (it’s very cheap in Didi in Mianyang, and the train station is also relatively close to the airport, so it’s very convenient to take a taxi directly there), checked all the luggage, and then went to have lunch (of course, things at the airport are expensive, It is recommended that you take a car or if you have time, walk to a place called Mianyang Art Institute which is very close to the airport. You can eat in the cafeteria in the school. There are also some fast food restaurants, Sichuan restaurants and the like next to the cafeteria).
Classic airplane photos
The original plan was to arrive in Haikou at four o'clock, but due to Chengdu air traffic control, it was almost six o'clock when we arrived in Haikou. Because the airport in Haikou is far away from the hotel we booked, taking the airport bus costs 20 yuan per person, and taking a taxi costs 80 yuan per person. In comparison, we still chose to take a taxi, but we were successfully stuck in the traffic jam. I was stuck in traffic for almost half an hour, and the fare soared to 100 yuan. So everyone must pay attention and choose the transportation that suits you. (PS: By the way, one of my classmates brought their driver's license there before, and it only cost more than 300 yuan to rent a car there for four days)

The name of the hotel we stayed in is called "Time Seal Theme Hotel". I found this by reading the guide online. It is really good. There are billiards, game consoles, projectors, and various drinks in the hotel lobby. You can even cook your own meals, all for free. Since four people were staying in one room, we deliberately chose a room with a seemingly large bed, which perfectly met our requirements.
The first stop is the "Qilou Snack Street", which is very close to the hotel. It takes about 20 minutes to walk there, and you will also pass the People's Park in Haikou City in the middle.
(Appreciate At sunset, there are many people exercising, btw, there are several ecological parks in Haikou, you can go and see them if you have time)
"Qilou Snack Street" and "Tailong City" are both next to each other , if you feel that the arcade snack street is not to your liking, you can also visit Tailong City. The two most prosperous areas in Haikou.
There are many things in Qilou Snack Street. It can be said that almost all Hainan specialties are included. However, to consume in the snack street, you must apply for a card at the visitor center. We recharged 200 yuan, and finally It only cost more than 100 yuan, and I really couldn’t eat anymore.

Yuanliyuan - Qilou Old Street - Bell Tower - Zhihexing Bookstore - Holiday Beach ——Sanya
I originally planned to visit many scenic spots, but since it was a free trip, the time was relatively loose, and the weather was too hot, so I only went to the few that I wanted to visit the most. place. Originally, I planned to go out early in the morning to eat at the "Nanmen Chicken Restaurant" recommended in the guide (because I love eating chicken, hahahaha), but it didn't open until around 4 or 5 pm, so I had to go there. Elsewhere, "Yuanliyuan" was accidentally discovered while wandering around. It is right next to Neijiang Building. It seems to have a sense of history and culture. It is mainly used for breakfast. Many locals eat there. It can be said that It was a surprise discovery. The boss is also very enthusiastic. The breakfast tastes very good and the price is cheap. If you want to experience the life of locals, I highly recommend everyone to go there for breakfast.
Neijiang Building is the tallest building in Haikou
I’m so full~~~
The son of the breakfast shop owner~ Brother Akun
After breakfast, we walked to Qilou Old Street, which is less than 10 minutes away.
On the way, we also passed by Haikou City Library, Guandi Temple and other interesting places. (This is an old man watching TV leisurely in Guandi Temple~)
There are relatively old-fashioned arcades along the way. Building, this is already close to the entrance of the old street (but be careful with battery cars in this area, there are really too many. I have been on the verge of death several times. I have to admire the driving skills of the people of Haikou)
(Photos of tourists on Qilou Old Street, there are not many people in the off-season)
When you arrive at Qilou Old Street, don’t think that “Qilou Old Street” and “Qilou Snack Street” are the same place. The old street is a leisure pedestrian street, but there are very few things sold inside, but you can take pictures there. It is recommended to order a coconut juice as soon as you enter. After drinking the juice, you can ask the boss to open the coconut and eat the coconut meat inside. In addition, there are There is a Mazu temple where you can also go and worship. The fortune teller there is a fellow Sichuanese. It was already noon when we came out of Qilou Old Street. There is a bookstore at the entrance of Qilou Old Street where you can go and have a light meal, but we took the bus directly to "Zhihexing Bookstore" (after all, it is more famous~)
(I wanted to go to the clock tower I saw at the bus stop, but it was too hot TT)
The bookstore is a good place to escape the summer heat, but it’s better to go back to the hotel to rest at this time Can. We stayed there until about 4 pm, and then we went back to eat Hainanese chicken rice. It was still a little early, but the boss quickly packed it up. We ordered half a chicken and a portion of pork ribs and lotus root soup, all according to the guide. I ordered it, but I personally think the soup can be omitted, it just tastes like home.
(The signature of Nanmen Chicken Rice Restaurant, very close to Qilou Old Street)
But the chicken rice is really delicious, so I come back to eat it in vain. After that, we went back to the hotel to pick up our luggage (if the weather is not hot, you can choose to walk more, I feel that the city of Haikou is quite sentimental). Because we booked the high-speed rail tickets to Sanya for around 10pm, we suddenly decided to go to Holiday Beach to watch the sunset.
Because
Maybe it was because of the festival. There were many people on the beach, it was very lively, and the scenery was particularly beautiful. It's just a bit far from the train station, and taking a taxi is too expensive, so we chose to take the bus there, which takes about an hour. There are still many people at the high-speed rail station at night. From Haikou Railway Station, you can choose three different routes to Sanya. The scenery seems to be different. It is recommended to take the high-speed rail during the day so that you can see the scenery along the way. You can’t see anything at night. When we arrived, it was still a bit cold at night. The air conditioner on the high-speed train was turned on very low, so it is recommended to bring a light jacket. Day3
Yalong Bay Forest Park - Butterfly Valley - Snorkeling - Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street
Let’s talk about accommodation in Sanya first. As we all know, Sanya has many five-star hotels along the coast. , the price in the off-season is about 700 RMB or more, which is quite cost-effective. But due to limited funds, we booked a family-style B&B hotel next to Yalong Bay Senli Park. It is in a community and looks like a suite (it has a kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, etc., but no kitchenware is provided for free). Mountain view room, we were upgraded for free when we went there.
Entrance of the community
On the way to the hotel, the driver suggested to us to give up the Forest Park, and the tickets to the Forest Park were slightly expensive, so we stayed in a small area below the Forest Park. We had breakfast in town, then went to Butterfly Valley along the road, and then all the way to the beach of Yalong Bay. (Don’t think that we walked there, there is still a little distance between each place. You can rent electric scooters right where we live for 50/day and ride as you like, so it is very convenient)
On the way to the beach Taken on the road
(The island opposite is a snorkeling place)
Butterfly Valley is equivalent to a commercial street in Yalong Bay, with supermarkets and places to eat, and even Starbucks and yachts are available for rent and sale, but they are all at the price of scenic spots. Many places were still under repair when we went there, so I personally think this place is very average and it is just a place to visit on the way. Finally, when we arrived at the beach, before we parked the car, the staff there came over to introduce us to the entertainment options. After discussion, we chose snorkeling (280/person). In addition, there are public beach chairs on the beach, but it is best to bring bath towels from the hotel in advance to cover them, otherwise those chairs will be really hot after being exposed to the sun. Next, let’s introduce snorkeling. Snorkeling in the off-season is really cost-effective, including speedboat and snorkeling together. First, take a speedboat to an island (the speedboat is quite exciting, and you can also experience the direction of the boat by yourself). There is a dedicated master waiting there. When you get there, you will wear a diving suit directly, so you must wear a swimsuit to go there. , otherwise the whole body will get wet. After entering the water, you float first. You can see some corals and fish, but you can't touch them and don't let you come into contact with those underwater creatures. They are afraid of being poisonous. After you get used to them, they will take you to dive. How deep you can dive depends on you. If you want to take pictures underwater, you will have to pay an additional fee (280/group for 10 photos. It may be because of the off-season, so don’t even think about bringing your camera there. You will not be allowed to bring it at all. In the past, there would be a place to store your bags, and you would not be allowed to take them out even if you brought them.) Finally, the speedboat would come back to pick us up after the tour was over (you can also seize the opportunity to have some excitement at the end).
After this project ended, it was almost noon. At this time, no one could stand on the beach at all. The sand was all very hot from the sun. There was nothing particularly delicious there, so we went directly back to the hotel to tidy up. After taking another nap (we got up quite early in the morning) and avoiding the sun for a while, around 4pm, we decided to go to the city and take a car directly to the Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street recommended by the hotel owner. It takes about an hour from the hotel to the city.
The Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street is not as good as Chunxi Road. It is a very small stretch of road. There are corridors selling some souvenirs and the like. There are delicacies from various places, which is relatively modern.
But we looked around and didn’t know what to eat, so we went directly to Pizza Hut. As expected, fast food is a good choice no matter where it is. After eating, we went to a large supermarket to do some shopping to prepare for the next day. While looking for the supermarket, we found another beach (it should be Dadonghai, but the water quality is not as good as Yalong Bay). It was sunset at that time. I went over to watch the sunset and bought some conches as souvenirs.
The largest local supermarket is probably Wanghao Supermarket. The food in the supermarket is very cheap, and there are also restaurants where you can eat. The distance here is not very far, it takes less than half an hour to walk. Day4
Yalong Bay - Sanya Duty Free City - Tianya Haijiao In order to fulfill my dream of swimming in the sea, I went to the beach early in the morning. I also chose a battery car to travel, and I also brought a large bag from the supermarket yesterday. Buy something. Around 6 or 7 o'clock in the morning, there was almost no one on the beach, and even the staff hadn't gone to work yet. Unfortunately, we missed the sunrise (but according to locals, the best place to watch the sunrise is on the mountain).
(I tried this Hainan specialty brand cigarette, the taste is very strong~)
Go back to the hotel around 10 o'clock, pack up and prepare to check out, and then go to the next attraction - —The ends of the earth. After checking out, because we still had time left, we went to the duty-free city for a walk under the scorching sun. The duty-free city in Sanya is very large, with a full range of brands and a lot of discounts. However, there are some things that are not tax-free. You should pay attention when purchasing. For example, coconut powder is cheaper to buy in urban supermarkets than in duty-free shops. There are also A place to eat and a great place to shop. If you don’t want to go there in person, you can also buy it on WeChat, and the price is the same. There is a special shuttle bus from the duty-free shop to the city via the highway. If you transfer in the city, you can go to the B&B we booked in the Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area - Lavender Seaside Boutique Inn. We saw it on Ctrip. The price is relatively cheap. Mainly There is a restaurant there where you can eat seafood while looking at the sea view.
The restaurant of the B&B is next to the sea
Maybe because of the industry, the sea water here in Tianya District feels a bit polluted. So we didn’t go play in the water. I went for a walk in the evening and saw the fishermen around me enjoying the cool air outside. They looked very comfortable. I also had a bowl of refreshing food by the way. I had to get up early the next day, so I went to bed early.
(Where the B&B is located, there are fishermen around, and tricycles come and go)
The prices here are relatively cheap, and the fruits are grown by the locals and sold. You can buy a lot for 10 yuan, and it’s very close to the airport. You can buy some things and go to the airport. You can use Didi to go to the airport, which is about 20 RMB. Day5
West Island - Sanya Airport - Mianyang - Chengdu
I originally planned to go to Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area to see the two stones, but the locals said that West Island is more fun. It’s not very far, so we went to West Island. The student ticket is 70RMB, which also includes boat ride. It took about half an hour to get there. The wind is very strong on the island, there are a lot of fish, and there are a lot of shells. You can pick some up and take them back. The main thing on the island is sightseeing and experiencing marine recreational facilities. The visitor center sells package tickets. For more than 1,000 yuan, you can experience all the projects at once. Packages with different prices include different projects. With the ticket, you can ride on the island for free. On the sightseeing bus. Because it is a scenic spot, prices on the island are relatively high, so it is recommended to buy some snacks in advance and take them with you.
The sea water is very transparent, and you can see a large number of fish below
The coastline is very beautiful
After returning from the island, we went directly back to the B&B to pick up our luggage. Went to wait for the flight. Fortunately, the flight was not delayed. We arrived in Mianyang around 11pm, so we asked the chef to take us to have a late night snack (that is, we didn’t get Mianyang’s rice noodles T-T). We bought the train at 3am and left at 6am. We finally returned to Chengdu, which ended our trip to the island.
