Xinjiang spans several time zones.

Two time zones. According to the weather network, Xinjiang is located in the westernmost part of China, spanning the fifth and sixth time zones, and Xinjiang uses the time zone where Urumqi is located. Beijing is located in the East Eighth District, and Xinjiang is located in the East Sixth District. Although there is a two-hour difference in time zone between Xinjiang and Beijing, it is these two hours that lead to many differences in living habits between Xinjiang and the mainland.
