Danjiangkou reservoir water level

Since the autumn flood season, there has been a continuous rainfall process in the upper reaches of Danjiangkou Reservoir, and the water level of the reservoir has been rising. Since the heightening of the dam last year, the water level of 16 exceeded the dead water level of150m for the first time in August, and the reservoir can operate normally. At 2 o'clock on the 28th, the water level climbed to 157.04m again, becoming the fourth highest water level since the completion of 1974 reservoir.

The normal water level of Danjiangkou Reservoir in the initial project is157m. As the reservoirs were built in 1974, 1983, 20 1 1 year, the water storage levels were 157.7m and 65447.7m respectively.

The Danjiangkou dam heightening project started in 2005, and the elevation of the dam crest was raised from the original162m to176.6m. After the Danjiangkou dam heightening project passed the water storage acceptance, the normal water level was raised from157m to170m. After the dam was raised, it began to store water in September last year. However, due to the lack of rainfall, the expected goal of experimental water storage above 157 meters could not be achieved.

According to the project plan, the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project transfers 9.5 billion cubic meters of water every year, but this does not mean that so much water must be transferred every year. It is estimated that the first phase of this year will transfer 654.38+0.5 billion cubic meters of water to the north, and the next year will transfer 4 billion cubic meters of water. At present, the storage capacity of the reservoir has reached more than 654.38+07 billion cubic meters. According to the analysis of meteorological forecast and the optimal operation of reservoirs, it is predicted that the water level will continue to rise and the water transfer conditions will become more and more mature.
