Taiyuan belongs to temperate monsoon climate, with no severe cold in winter, no heat in summer, large temperature difference between day and night, long frost-free period and abundant sunshine. The annual average rainfall is 456 mm, the annual average temperature is 9.5℃, 1 month is the coldest, and the average temperature is 6.8℃. It is the hottest in July, with an average temperature of 23.5℃. The annual sunshine hours are 2808 hours. The climate is dry, with little rainfall and large temperature difference between day and night, showing strong continental climate characteristics. Winter is dry and cold for a long time, summer is wet and rainy, spring temperature rises sharply, autumn temperature drops rapidly, spring and autumn are short and windy, and dry and wet seasons are distinct.
