One of the only two flower pagodas in Beijing ~ Zhengang Pagoda

A few years ago, I was constantly sorting out those small scenic spots in Beijing, and I was a little surprised to see that there were more than 100 ancient pagodas in Fangshan. My heart says that as far as I know, there are more famous Yunju Temple Pagoda, Liangxiang Haotian Pagoda and Yao Tomb Pagoda near Fengtai. I must check this 100 pagoda. Later, more than 20 towers were discovered one after another. The two towers in Fengtai, which are close to the urban area, and the Zhen 'gang Tower in Yungang, the Miyan Tower in Wayao Village, have never been there, so we should go and have a look first. Then I groped on the map, like a secret eaves tower. It's really difficult to go by bus. It's a long way, but I like walking, especially the feeling of loneliness in the wilderness.

It was a fine day, so I took this road once. I'll go to the more convenient Zhengang Tower first. On the map, you can find that all buses are subway and light rail, and you have to transfer to bus No.3-4, but you can get there by bus No.951from Babaoshan subway station, which is more convenient. As I expected, take Da 1 from our home to Babaoshan subway station and cross the road to 95 1 main station. 9.30 Leave home and go to Zhengangta Road bus stop 1 1. I used to know that this place is a secret unit such as aerospace, and it's really my first time here. The old road is not wide, and there are two residential areas in Yungang on both sides. Get off the bus and walk back, and you will see the vibration tower on the hillside by the road.

Walk about 200 meters and walk along the slope to the hillside. Oh, this is a flower tower. It looks strong.

I looked it up on the Internet before I came. This tower is a relic of the Jin Dynasty. It is located on a nine-level octagonal brick solid flower tower facing south, with a height of18m and a bottom circumference of 24m.

The tower is well protected and surrounded by iron fences, so it can't be reached.

There is a barren hill around the tower. When I went there, some old people were exercising there.

Looking at the brick carving, it's still very nice, imitation wood structure. There used to be Buddha statues in the small niche above, but now there are some vague little Buddha statues, and some have nothing. I think it has been damaged for so many years.

Tower is the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Beijing, but it didn't become the seventh batch of national protection until 20 13. The national protection monument is inside the iron fence, but it can't be seen outside. It is said that this is one of the only two flower pagodas in Beijing, and the other is in Fangshan Wanfo Hall.

The foundation of the tower is a brick octagon.

Some people say that this is the Feng Shui Tower, which should be correct. But I can't remember why this post was considered Jackie Chan of Jin Dynasty and the tower was built to suppress this dragon. But look at the current situation, this post has been cut off by the roads in the north, and the feng shui has long been broken.

The tower has undergone many repairs and hardships. It was rebuilt once in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. It is said that there used to be a rebuilt monument, but now it has disappeared. They bombed the Japanese. It is said that it was trimmed in 1958 and 1982. It was not easy to repair it in the noisy 1950s, but it seems to have been repaired in recent years.

It is the season when Sophora japonica is in full bloom, and a fresh fragrance comes to my face. It's not bad to take some pictures through the locust tree.

When I left, I ran to the west of the tower and took another picture. Later, I read the information carefully. There are two warriors, two civil servants and Dapeng Golden Winged Bird on the relief on the northwest side. But now we can't get through.

It's very convenient to go to Zhengang Tower. The bus goes to Zhengang Tower Road, which is next to it. One stop to the west is Yungang town, where you live, eat, drink and be merry. See the bus sign below for the specific bus route.
