What is the lowest temperature of-28℃ in Altay, Xinjiang?

On February 5th, due to the influence of cold air, the Altay region of Xinjiang recently experienced cooling and snowfall, with the average temperature reaching minus 12 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature reaching minus 28 degrees Celsius.

The cold wave weather has brought adverse effects on local transportation, facility agriculture and animal husbandry in Altay. A large area of snowfall occurred in Habahe County in northern Altay, with the lowest temperature reaching MINUS 22 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature in Qinghe reaching MINUS 28 degrees Celsius.

Local people are using agricultural vehicles to transport coal to prevent coal shortage at home in extremely cold weather.

From 5th to 6th, there was light snow in parts of northern Xinjiang, Tianshan Mountain Area, northern Hami and western southern Xinjiang, among which there was medium snow in parts of Ili Valley, Tacheng, Tianshan Mountain Area along northern Xinjiang, Tianshan Mountain Area and western mountainous area of southern Xinjiang, and heavy snow in some areas.
