Where is Longtan Mountain? Introduction to Longtan Mountain 20 18

Longtan Mountain may be a place that many friends still don't know very well. In fact, it is also a good tourist attraction. The following small series will tell you what's interesting here.

Where is Longtan Mountain? Longshan Road, Longtan District, Jilin City (East Bank of Songhua River)

Different from the precipitous beauty of Zhuque Mountain, Longtan Mountain, one of the four famous mountains in Jilin City, has a quiet and heavy historical and cultural atmosphere. On June 10, Suzaku was not full-term, and our "Climbing 100%" fitness club came to Longtan Mountain in gloomy weather.

This day coincides with the start of the 20 18 Jilin International Marathon with the theme of "Ma Yue Jiangcheng embraces mountains and rivers", and its route 100% is along the river, which coincides with the Manchu name of Jilin. When passing through Longshan Road on Songhua River, we were lucky enough to see enthusiastic athletes file out from Longtan Bridge, surrounded by a sea of people, sometimes cheering and cheering, which was very lively. On and off the court, people are venting their happiness in different ways.

From the perspective of geomantic omen, Longtan Mountain is the "Zuo Qinglong" of the four famous mountains. The mountain is not big, like a dragon entrenched in the dense forest by the Songhua River.

Looking from the south of Longshan Road, a tall mountain gate with the words "Longtan Mountain Ruins Park" stands tall in front of you. The mountain gate imitates the pre-Qin architectural style, which is simple, heavy and distinguished.

Brother Qing and I fought to find a ticket office to buy tickets. To our surprise, in recent years, parks in cities such as Longtan Mountain and Beishan Mountain do not accept any tickets.

When we entered the hospital, we were immediately infected by the strong local cultural atmosphere. Whether it's people dancing street dance in front of the square, amateurs practicing figure skating, or even a dog snooping around on the second floor on the west side, it shows the unparalleled vitality of this park.

There is a group of embossed walls on the west side of the square in front. Eight reliefs show the vicissitudes of Jilin City from Neolithic slash-and-burn to Manchu regime in Ming and Qing Dynasties for thousands of years, and a strong sense of history comes to mind.

In the middle of the square, a huge bronze sword stands on a high pedestal. It is known that this sword is a model of bronze sword, unearthed in 198 1, and it is a relic of Fuyu Kingdom of Han Dynasty. In the empty square, the sword stands against the sky, which is extremely desolate and lonely, giving people a heroic feeling. I was about to take a picture of Chunmu under the sword when a middle-aged man who was playing roller skating flew over and kindly told me that it was not appropriate to take pictures with people under the sword. I suddenly remembered some taboos about taking pictures in our traditional culture, such as not taking pictures with monuments, tombs, temples, ancient trees and houses, Buddha statues, etc. The folk saying is that if you violate the rules, it will bring all kinds of unknowns to the photographer. At that time, I just thought about the evil effect of the sword, thus ignoring these taboos and repeatedly thanking. Later, I went east to the Qing Emperor Gaozong (Emperor Qianlong) to board the memorial tablet. The inscription contained the 19th year of Qianlong (1754). Emperor Qianlong made an east tour here to worship the Longtan, seal the sacred tree and worship the master in white.

On the south side of the square, a huge relief shows the history of the rise of the Jin Dynasty from the northeast. In the center of the relief, the Jurchen national hero Yan Hong Aku, holding a bow and arrow, straddles the fine horse, making her look dignified and charming. The relief is magnificent, which makes the northeast people, especially Manchu people, feel a sense of national pride.

Climbing up the stairs along the Qianlong Imperial Road, soon, our party came to the ruins of the ancient city wall.

Longtan Mountain was built into a ruins park because 1500 years ago, the ruins of Koguryo Mountain City remained on this mountain. The Koguryo regime began in 37 BC (Western Han Dynasty) and ended in 668 AD (early Tang Dynasty). In its heyday, its sphere of influence included the southeast of Jilin, the east of Liaohe and the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. It was once one of the most influential minority regimes in Northeast China and played an important role in the historical development of Northeast Asia.

The trace of the ancient city wall is not clear now, but there are abrupt high bags on both sides of the mountain road. When we climbed up, we didn't find anything related to history and the ancients, but we saw the low-lying place of the city wall ruins, leaving traces of tourists using it as a temporary toilet.

Dozens of meters below the ancient city wall is the famous landscape "water dungeon" of Longtan Mountain, which is called "Longtan", hence the name Longtan Mountain. According to textual research, Longtan was a spare water storage tank built by soldiers guarding the mountain city in the Koguryo era (another era was the Liao and Jin dynasties). No matter whether the weather is drought or flood, the water level in the pool has not changed much, and it has never dried up after countless cold and summer. According to legend, the surrendered dragon was chained to the bottom of the pond. The existing chain is tied to the trunk beside the pond, and the other end is hung deep at the bottom of the pond. There is a book under the tree, with a stone tablet of "Eight Scenes of Jilin-Longtan Printing the Moon". In fact, if it weren't for the beautiful legend of subduing demons and Qianlong's coming here to sacrifice, this square pool in front of us wouldn't be a real beauty. It can be seen that once many ordinary things in the world are associated with legends and celebrities, they will greatly increase their mystery and enhance their popularity.

Around the mountain, we came to the Longfeng Temple on the mountain, which is a combination of Kannonji, Guandi Temple and Maitreya Temple. Compared with the peak of incense in Beishan Yu Temple, there are very few good men and women coming and going here, and no monks and nuns are seen, which has restored the Buddhist tranquility that the temple should have.

We walked on. Because of the gentle slope of the mountain road, we walked effortlessly to the highest point of Longtan Mountain-Nantianmen. It is said to be the highest point, but in fact it is only 388.3 meters above sea level. Nantianmen was originally the southern platform of Koguryo Mountain City. When you board this place, you can see a panoramic view of the whole Jilin city. But after all, the altitude of the mountain is slightly lower, and the lens feeling of overlooking the photo is far less than that of Zhuque Mountain. On the north side of the square, a tall three-story double-eaves landscape pavilion, Qinglong Pavilion, rises from the ground, and the angle of view must be good. However, it is disappointing that the exhibition hall is under maintenance and has not yet been opened. On the south side of the square, there is a monument to the site of the Anti-Union Conference. Unfortunately, the inscription has been mottled, and the inscription is really flattering. Tourists in Nantianmen area are relatively concentrated. People either lean on the railing to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Jiangcheng, or choose to sit on the plank road to relax. According to our preliminary plan, we want to enjoy the scenery of Suzaku Peak as we did last time. But after searching for a long time, I couldn't find an elegant and quiet place to drink tea, so I had to go back with tea sets and boiled water.

On the way down the mountain, we passed another famous landscape "Drought Prison" in Longtan Mountain. The "drought prison" is a deep pit with a diameter of more than ten meters and a depth of six meters. Contrary to the "water prison", it never runs dry. The "drought prison" has no water for many years. The folklore "drought prison" is a place where prisoners are held, but it is actually a cellar for storing military supplies.

When I landed here, my thoughts unconsciously returned to the early morning 24 years ago. Tsing Yi and I swam here under the guidance of Master Wang Zhenmin, a worker from Jihua. We met by chance in Changbai Mountain in the vast sea of people, but Master Wang was able to treat us with all his enthusiasm. I always thought that meeting was the best meeting I have ever experienced in my life. The warmth and emotion I once had are still vivid in my mind and will be engraved in the depths of my memory forever. Every time I think about it, I am always grateful.

I wish all those who watch or run around in the journey of life all the best!
