Notice of suspension of Yangtze River cableway

Chongqing Yangtze River Cableway was completed on March 20th 1986, and1October 24th 1987 was put into operation. It is the first large-scale passenger ropeway designed and manufactured by our country across the Yangtze River, and has the reputation of the first "air corridor" of the Yangtze River and the "Airbus" of the city.

The ropeway starts from Xinhua Road (Chang'an Temple) in Yuzhong District in the north and ends at Shangxin Street (Longmenggou) in Nan 'an District in the south, connecting Yuzhong District, a prosperous business district, with Nan 'an District, a landscape city. It is an important part of Chongqing's unique three-dimensional transportation network, and it is a city business card that reflects the humanistic characteristics of Chongqing's mountains and rivers, which complements the mountain scenery.
