The accuracy of major weather forecast, the service ability of atmospheric detection, early warning and monitoring, and the level of artificial precipitation enhancement are advanced in the province, and the research in some fields has reached the domestic advanced level; The field of agricultural meteorological science and technology services has been continuously expanded, and meteorological satellite remote sensing technology and forest fire risk monitoring technology are developing in depth, realizing all-round serial services for main crops before, during and after production. The rural meteorological early warning service network has covered 90% of the villages in the city, and the meteorological science and technology innovation mechanism has begun to take shape.

Weather modification is a scientific and technological means to increase precipitation (snow), reduce hail and prevent frost in some areas by using modern science and technology, and has become an important measure for disaster prevention and mitigation in our city, especially for protecting agricultural production.
